Celebrating key events isn't just about the day itself it is also about the preparation; everyone loves the build up and excitement as well as decorating the homes.

Creating Floral Displays

Rose Garden and Olive Tree House residents so enjoyed preparing for the Valentine's events by creating floral displays. Floral pictures and arrangements were carefully put together with stunning end results. It was also a lovely opportunity for some one to one time with residents.

Special Times

On Valentine's Day itself Rose Garden enjoyed a coffee morning and Olive Tree House an afternoon tea. The activities team decorated the home beautifully including a Valentine's poem for every resident to enjoy over lunch. The dining rooms looked stunning including the floral arrangements the residents created.

Marvellous entertainers Geoff and Pete sang a great selection of songs including some classic love songs; "Can't Help Falling in Love" and "Wonderful World". During and after their performance the duo also took time to chat to residents.

The hospitality team baked delicious fresh cream sponges, tt was a very special day of love at both the homes.
