Care South celebrates top care home group rating for fifth consecutive year

Carers at residential and care at home provider, Care South, are celebrating after being rated as a top care home provider for the fifth consecutive year.

Care South, which is a registered charity, has been named as one of the Top 20 Care Home Groups in the UK at the Care Home Awards 2025. This is the fifth year in a row that the care provider has been presented with the accolade in recognition of the high quality of care provided to the residents.

Care South has 16 care homes based across Dorset, North Devon, Somerset and West Sussex, and care at home offices covering Dorset and Somerset.

The top care home groups at the Care Home Awards 2025 receive an award based on reviews from residents, relatives and loved ones on the industry website carehome.co.uk. The average group review score for Care South is 9.8/10 with the majority of its homes ranking even higher.

Reviews for Care South’s homes on carehome.co.uk include: ‘It is an amazing care home. It could not be better. My mum has received expert care at a time in her life when she really needs sensitive care and attention.”

Another review reads: “My parents were admitted for respite care. From my first visit to the home, I can only commend all the staff. The process was quick, efficient and so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The home is like one big family, and I can't praise it enough. I am so thankful I found this gem.”
