Parkinson's UK Information Event

On Wednesday 19th March our home communities team was invited to attend the 3rd Annual Parkinson’s local PD Meeting, organised by Parkinson's Harrogate and the local NHS Harrogate trust which took place at Ashville College, Harrogate.

It was truly humbling to speak with and listen to various speakers, professional and those touched by Parkinson's in their daily lives and the affect it has on not only them but also their loved ones.

It was also a huge privilege to have the opportunity to speak with Paul Mayhew-Archer MBE, who shone light on his own experiences with Parkinson's using his trademark humour and wit to show a different perspective on this condition which affects so many.
