Eastbourne Care Home Celebrates Mother’s Day with Afternoon Tea

Coppice Court Care Home in Eastbourne, East Sussex, celebrated Mother’s Day, with a delightful afternoon tea to honour the wonderful mothers in the home.

With an array of sweet treats, tea and coffee, and heart-warming conversations, the afternoon was filled with laughter and reminiscing. Residents shared cherished memories of motherhood, recalling the joys of raising their families and reflecting on the experiences they would relive or do differently. One thing they all agreed on—they loved being mothers!

Tia, a resident at Coppice Court, expressed her delight, saying,

"What a lovely spread. It’s great to be able to spoil the mothers."

Natalie Smith, Home Manager at Coppice Court said:

“This was such a lovely idea to treat the mothers. What an amazing spread of sweet treats!" The event was a beautiful way to celebrate motherhood, bringing residents together to share stories, laughter, and love over a delicious afternoon tea.
