Launton Grange Care Home transformed into a whimsical wonderland over the weekend as residents and their families gathered for a truly special Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea. With two exclusive seating's, the home welcomed families into a magical and glamorous private dining experience that will be remembered for years to come.
The lounges were elegantly decorated with an enchanting Alice in Wonderland theme, featuring bunting, balloons, and heartfelt Mother’s Day quotes gracefully draped from the ceiling. Tables were beautifully arranged with themed crockery, fresh flowers, delicate rose petals, sparkling rose diamonds, and an array of delectable sweet treats. Each guest was welcomed with a glass of prosecco, adding to the sense of celebration and sophistication.
Over the course of the weekend, Launton Grange hosted five families on Saturday and three on Sunday. The guests enjoyed the exclusive setting of the private dining lounge, filled with the sounds of joyful conversations and laughter. Smooth classical music played softly in the background, enhancing the atmosphere of elegance and charm.
Resident Molly Boughton, 99, shared her delight, saying, "The whole experience was just magical. The room was decorated beautifully, the atmosphere was excellent, and the food was delicious. It was all very special, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. So much hard work went into making it perfect."
