Bradley Hall Care Home, operated by HC-One, transformed into a hub of love and festivity this Mother’s Day weekend to create unforgettable memories for residents and their families.
The care home in Leicester pulled out all the stops to ensure a weekend filled with joy, connection, and creativity. The celebration kicked off on Saturday, March 29, with a beautifully decorated room adorned with balloons, tables, and chairs, setting the stage for residents and their loved ones to reconnect.
The highlight of the afternoon was a "Come Dine" three-course meal, paired with live entertainment from a talented singer. The air buzzed with laughter and delight as everyone soaked in the warm, festive atmosphere.
The celebration continued into Sunday, March 30, with a burst of colour and inspiration from a flower painting activity that unleashed the residents’ artistic flair. The session was a resounding success, with participants beaming with pride over their creations.
The day continued with a touching discussion led by Bradley Hall colleagues, who asked residents ‘What advice would you give to a new mummy-to-be?’. The residents’ responses were a treasure trove of wisdom, brimming with heartfelt insights that left everyone moved. Sarah Clark, Bradley Hall Care Home Manager, said: “Seeing our residents and their families come together like this is what makes our work so special. The weekend was a perfect blend of fun, creativity, and meaningful moments.”
