Country Court is delighted to announce the winner of its highly anticipated 2025 Signature Mocktail Competition, held in celebration of Nutrition & Hydration Week at Camberwell Lodge Care & Nursing Home in London. This exciting event brought together Client Service Managers from across the Country Court group to showcase their creativity and passion for crafting delicious, nutritious beverages.

This year’s theme, “Timeless Classics,” invited participants to create a signature mocktail inspired by the cherished memories of our residents. With the generous sponsorship by Liquidline, the competition spotlighted coffee-based mocktails, adding a rich and comforting element to the challenge.

After an impressive number of original recipe submissions, five finalists were selected to compete in the grand finale. Each finalist was tasked with creating a unique and inspiring mocktail, judged across four key categories: Taste, Presentation, Creativity, and Overall Enjoyment. Each category was scored out of five, with a maximum total of 20 points.

Our judges included: • Anwar Kajee, Hospitality Director • Lucy Bateson, Head of Marketing • Mandy Webb, Client Services Support Manager • Margaret Ewulomi, Front of House Senior Area Manager

Additionally, Paul Latimer, National Accounts Manager at Liquidline, attended to support the competition and witness the impressive creativity of our participants firsthand.

Finalist Mocktails: • Smoked Sanmary Coffee Fizz • Golden Russian • Citrus Brew Bliss • Rise and Shine • Malted Memories After a close competition, Rebecca Pickford from Fairfield Manor Care & Nursing Home near Hitchin was crowned the overall winner.

Runner-up Anissah Ndiriwani, Client Services Manager at Oakview Lodge Care & Nursing Home in Welwyn Garden City, shared her inspiration behind Citrus Brew Bliss: "This coffee-orange mocktail balances flavour and health benefits. Oranges add a citrus twist with Vitamin C and antioxidants, while honey brings natural sweetness with antibacterial and digestive benefits. Freshly brewed coffee or espresso gives an energizing boost, and soda water adds a light fizziness. Ice keeps it cool and refreshing, making it the perfect revitalizing drink."

‘We are incredibly proud of all our finalists for their dedication to crafting delicious and nutritious beverages. Their passion and creativity reflect Country Court’s ongoing commitment to providing enjoyable, health-conscious dining experiences for our residents’ said Anwar Kajee, Hospitality Director.
