Our Gardening Club has Sprouted!

When the drizzle comes, it doesn't stop us getting our green fingers stuck in the soil here at Bere Grove.Gardening Club started this week with the help of Fred, the homes friendly and knowledgeable gardener. A group of our residents got stuck in to potting some lovely flowers ready to give our gardens and balconies a touch of vibrant colour this summer. We planted a beautiful variety of flowers including geraniums and fuchsias.We also potted our sunflowers so we can watch and document their progress ... I don't know if you remember our sunflowers from last year? They were EXTREMELY tall so we certainly have some work to do to beat those! Keep an eye out for our sunflower updates Gardening is not only a wonderful hobby, but it also offers therapeutic benefits like reducing stress, encouraging movement, and sparking conversation. We can’t wait to see our flowers bloom — and watch this new community blossom too!
