Today we celebrated Good Friday with a special Coffee Morning which included an activity table full of Arts’n’Crafts to keep the children busy while visiting their relatives.
Resident Diane was very keen to help hide all the Chicks & Bunnies for the children to find on the Easter Egg Hunt. The children were very exciting running around the gardens looking for the Easter Bunnies treats.
We judged the Easter Bonnet competition and it was Meadowlands who won with a very impressively decorated Bonnet. They were presented with a bag of chocolate eggs to share amongst themselves & residents. Well done Meadowlands!
We also drew the Easter Raffle. Many prizes were up for grabs but it was our resident Barbara who won first prize, she picked one of the biggest eggs.
Lastly the Easter Bunny made another appearance to distribute lots of chocolate to each community.
Did you know our activities team create a weekly schedule of activities based on residents’ interests?
Many of these activities are open to the local community to attend. Please call the activities team on 01992 787 202 to find out more.
