Milford House Residents Enjoy a 'Mad as a Hatter' Day at Easter

Residents at Milford House Care Home in Salisbury enjoyed a fabulous 'Mad as a Hatter' tea party on Easter Bank Holiday Monday! The themed party based on the Alice in Wonderland character saw residents and visitors enjoying a delicious cream tea with fun and colourful table decorations and of course hats!

The morning had been spent with residents making their hats for the afternoon's party with some great designs and snappy slogans which were then strategically placed on the tables so that everyone could wear one. Senior General Manager Aga Musial commented 'The party was a great way to round off what was a really busy weekend here at Milford with family and friends popping in to join us for various events over the weekend. Our conservatory looked really festive and everyone was in real party mood and there were lots of smiles in evidence!'

One of the Life Enrichment team members at the home added 'Everyone loves Easter and there was a real sense of celebration around the home as we handed out Easter Eggs, served a delicious traditional lunch for Easter Sunday as well as holding our 'Mad as a Hatter' tea party. There is never a dull moment here and we are now looking forward to the May Bank Holiday which will be here before we know it!'
