Our Spring Celebration Afternoon Tea Party!

What a wonderful afternoon we had at our Spring Celebration Afternoon Tea Party here at Avondale Care Home! Our residents, families, and guests gathered for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and delicious treats. Everyone enjoyed homemade cakes and classic afternoon tea, prepared by our talented chefs. The real stars of the afternoon, however, were our two very special visitors—a pair of adorable ponies who trotted in to say hello! Residents loved meeting them, giving them gentle pats, and even sneaking them a carrot or two. Best of all, the event helped us raise funds for the Florence Nightingale Hospice, a cause close to many hearts. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported the day – your generosity is truly appreciated. Huge thanks to our team, families, and volunteers who made the day so special.
