Westgate Healthcare is proud to announce that Meadowhill Care Home, its newest flagship residence in Borehamwood, has officially received its Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration and is now welcoming residents.

Welcoming Our First Resident

Meadowhill was delighted to welcome their very first resident, Tom, arriving at the home accompanied by his family. He was warmly greeted by Home Manager Alex Ellwood and her team and settled in over the Easter weekend.

On Tuesday 22nd April, Westgate Healthcare CEO Sanjiv Patel and Director Tara Teubner welcomed Tom to Meadowhill, with a small celebration, with special guest The Worshipful the Mayor of the Borough of Hertsmere, Councillor Richard Butler, attending and officially marking the occasion. As the first citizen of the borough, the Mayor’s attendance reflects the strong community spirit and the significance of Meadowhill Care Home within Borehamwood.

This special moment marks the beginning of a vibrant new chapter for the Meadowhill community, and a warm welcome to all future residents and their families.
