Going the ‘egg-stra’ mile at Easter

This Easter, BCG has been buzzing with all the good feels as celebrations took place in every home.

Naturally, the Easter Bunny put in appearances at Forth View and Stormont Lodge, with the latter having their eggs delivered in some lovely handmade baskets, which residents absolutely adored.

Others held competitions, with fantastic prizes on offer. At Willowbank, where staff organised a special party, residents and their families had the chance to enter a raffle. Pitlochry residents, meanwhile, competed by making their own baskets, which all looked amazing.

Of course, our residents love to decorate for the occasion and many, like Luncarty, took part in activities to get the homes looking the part ahead of Easter Sunday, crafting cards, bunny ears and plenty of colourful artwork. Many, like Antiquary, baked goodies in preparation.

Communities got involved, too. At The Glens, The Basin Belles performed a fabulous Easter routine which went down a treat with residents. Alastrean invited up some of the local children for an egg hunt, took part in potted sports and also enjoyed a visit from two little lambs.

And at Brookfield, they received an epic bundle of flowers which the residents quickly turned into fantastic table decorations.

All this isn’t even the half of it! A big hand to everyone for making it a brilliant long weekend.
