OUSE VIEW CARE HOME CELEBRATES EASTER IN STYLE

Staff and residents at Barchester’s Ouse View care home, in Fulford York, celebrated Easter with a whole host of different activities including an afternoon eggtravaganza: Easter Egg Hunt, Decorating Wooden Easter Eggs, decorating hard-boiled eggs and as tradition rolling them down the ramp and finally a Easter Bunny Hunt around Fulford.

Residents at Ouse View enjoyed an eggs-tensive range of Easter activities, from Easter Egg Hunt, Decorating Wooden Easter Eggs, decorating hard-boiled eggs and as tradition rolling them down the ramp and finally an Easter Bunny Hunt around Fulford. They had a Easter coffee afternoon with lots of chocolate and easter style buns. Residents were thrilled when members of the public came to enjoy the afternoon with them Residents got a visit from the easter bunny on Good Friday where they all received a Easter egg. All the staff at Ouse View were also given an egg as a way of saying thankyou for all their hard work.

General Manager, Rebekka Richardson said: “As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Easter. It’s such a lovely time of year – the residents love all the colourful Easter eggs and seeing the children go looking for the easter eggs. It’s really been an eggs-cellent few days!”

Jenny, resident at Ouse View Care Home said: “It was so wonderful to see the children running around the home looking for the easter eggs, it reminded me of when I was a child! I think I’ve eaten too much chocolate! It was so wonderful to see everyone go to so much effort. I really enjoyed decorating the wooden easter eggs and of course everyone being together for the afternoon on Easter Monday.
