Last week, Knowle Park Nursing Home in Cranleigh welcomed over 250 children for their biggest Easter celebration yet, in collaboration with its neighbours at Knowle Park Trust.
The day started with an Easter egg hunt in Knowle Park, where the children were tasked with finding colourful ribbons. Once they had found as many ribbons as they could, they brought them through the gates to the home, where the residents gave them Easter eggs.
After the Easter egg hunt, the celebrations continued with a fun-filled afternoon where the guests enjoyed a variety of refreshing drinks, homemade treats, and a great performance from magician Marky Wild, who amazed the children by pulling a live rabbit out of his hat.
Home Manager Caroline said, “A special thanks to Step in Time Chimney Services for sponsoring the event, allowing us to make it a free event. Well done to the team who helped host in our stunning gardens, keeping everyone well fed, and putting on a fantastic magic show. And of course, a massive thank you to Knowle Park Trust's brilliant volunteers and the Knowle Park team for helping everything run so smoothly.”
