This recognition follows on the heels of their recent shortlisting for the Independent/Family Business of the Year Award at the Keighley & Airedale Business Awards, announced on 30th August 2024.

This achievement underscores Spellman Care’s unwavering commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. From significantly reducing their carbon footprint with the installation of solar panels at Ghyll Royd Care Home to prioritizing employee well-being, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, and actively engaging with the local community, Spellman Care strives to create a positive impact across it’s homes and in the local community.

A distinguished panel of independent judges, led by Prof. Martin Green, CEO of Care England, will determine the category winners. The much-anticipated Gala Awards ceremony will be held on 15th October 2024, at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.

As a small, local care home group, Spellman Care is incredibly proud to have reached the finals of two national award schemes in 2024. This recognition not only highlights Spellman Care’s commitment to providing exceptional care, but also demonstrates their dedication to setting high standards in the social care sector.
