Barrowhill Hall has reached the last five nationally in the Dementia Care Awards 2016. The award is for Best Interior Dementia Design and relates to the newly opened care household at Barrowhill Hall, Churnet Lodge.

Churnet Lodge is a dementia care household that caters to individuals with residential dementia needs. The household has worked with a number of specialist dementia care experts, including Stirling Academy, in arriving at its design which means the environment is excellent for individuals living with memory loss.

Churnet Lodge is situated on the crest of a hill with panoramic vies of the surrounding countryside and large window and a lovely safe outside area to soak up the view or dine al fresco.
