Borough Care is holding a recruitment event in Mersey Square on Saturday June 20.
Stockport's eleventh largest employer has 550 staff working across 11 care homes in Stockport and is looking for carers and housekeepers to join the team who are passionate about the care of older people, many who are living with dementia. Working hours are day or night shifts, with permanent or bank contracts. There are also opportunities for volunteers for anyone who can spare just a few hours a week.
Borough Care Chief Executive Kathryn Farmer said: “It takes a very special person with compassion, patience and quite simply kindness of heart to provide the best possible care and support for older people.

The event runs from 9am to 5pm and anyone interested can come along and talk to the Borough Care team about the special qualities needed to support older people and the employment opportunities available.
