This year Wellborn Care Homes Ltd are celebrating their 30th anniversary, and among other events planned, on Saturday 15th July at 3pm at Wellburn House Care Home, they are going to be launching 30 very special balloons into the North East sky. Wellburn House was their first ever home and where their story started, 30 years ago.

A gift voucher for Interflora will be attached to each balloon, and when the balloons finally ground and are found, the lucky recipients will find a card attached, asking them to nominate someone older in their lives, who they’d like show love to.

Wellburn's Managing Director, Rachel Beckett, will then personally hand deliver each and every bunch of flowers and message, from all the recipients, to their nominated loved one.

For 30 years, Wellburn Care Homes have been spreading love and care within the communities, and so this is another way for them to continue to spread the love. Please keep an eye out on the North East sky this weekend, you never know what you may find!
