Date: Saturday 10 Nov 2018 – Sunday 11 Nov 2018
Organiser: Cedrus House
Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th November 2018
12 noon – 2pm
Come along to Cedrus House care home this Remembrance weekend as we open the doors to the public to join us in marking 100 years since the end of World War I. The home will be open for visitors to come and view our very own poppy waterfall display, to commemorate all those who lost their lives in conflicts during the First World War.
Our display will be inspired by the Weeping Window that stunned audiences at the Tower of London, intricately designed and crocheted by team members and residents at Cedrus House, as well as members of the public.
There will also be a display of clay poppies in our gardens made by residents and members of the Cedrus Club to honour lost loved ones.
Please feel free to pop in at any time during the open hours. For more information please call 01449 797491 or email angela.hodge@careuk.com
