John Burgess was appointed headteacher of Yatton Junior school in 1965 a position he enjoyed until retirement in 1985.

He taught at Westbury Junior school and two junior schools in Bath prior to his appointment in 1965 as Headteacher.

John founded the Yatton Ramblers group and was a keen member of the Morris Team.

We are delighted that John recently joined us at Cadbury Hall and we are equally delighted to make his 100th Birthday extra special.
