View Full Details of Beauchamp Country House CareI came to Beauchamp House direct from hospital Everyone has been most welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble If I need respite care in the future I would certainly come back to Beauchamp House
My mother has recently become a resident in Beauchamp House. Their communication with us throughout the whole process has been excellent. All the staff are very efficient, friendly and obviously want the residents to enjoy living at the home. They go above and beyond to assist both residents and their families. We are very happy with the care Mum is receiving.
The staff at Beauchamp House were all so kind, considerate and friendly yet professional. Mum was able to come into the home quickly and received excellent medical and personal care throughout her short stay. It was such a shame that she was too poorly to enjoy the beautiful grounds and fun activities as well as the excellent catering that was on offer.
I had the pleasure of spending two weeks at this beautiful care home for respite care after knee surgery. The staff were so helpful and work so very hard to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Great food and had beautiful views of the garden. Thanks to everyone for looking after me.
I am here for two weeks respite care. Every single member of staff has been incredible. They cannot do enough for me. The surroundings are amazing. Beautiful grounds. I have had a wonderful, relaxing time after a long illness. Cannot recommend highly enough. Ten stars! Thank you all.
My mother spent the last couple of weeks of her life (palliative care) at Beauchamp Country House Care and our experience from the first conversation through until my mother sadly passed away was full of care, dignity and compassion. All the Staff are very professional, very kind and compassionate. Everybody went well beyond what I was expecting to the point that I knew most of mums care staff by first names and they knew me. Normally there is always something that you could say 'could be done better' but I have racked my brain and I am struggling to find a single thing is disliked. The home is beautiful and is full of character. Well done to Beauchamp House, The manager and her wonderful staff.
My mother has just spent the last nineteen months in Beauchamp House and has been so well cared for. The staff are exceptional and always looked after her with compassion, kindness and good humour. Mum was very reluctant to move to a care home but loved her time there and was very happy which gave her family enormous peace of mind.
My mother has now been in the home for 2 years and I cannot fault the home at all. The care staff are very professional in what they do, always kind and patient with mum, they all know mums likes and dislikes. During the early months this year, things were not good with mum and the care staff went above and beyond to comfort her and us as a family, and she has come out of that bad time. The nursing staff, well what can I say, absolutely superb, they are always compassionate and have the time to speak with us as a family when we have concerns for mum. The food is excellent and although mum is still fussy with her food they will accommodate her needs when possible. Nothing at all is too much trouble for all staff and we as a family are greatly thankful that mum is in the best care home. So I would like to thank the manager and deputy manager and admin team and all staff for taking care of my mother words, cannot say enough.
Mum and Dad moved into one of the Beauchamp Gardens bungalows just before last Christmas when it was perfect for their needs. They quickly settled in assisted by the excellent staff and the ability to bring their much-loved belonging with them. Unfortunately, Mum's health deteriorated a few months ago and after 2 weeks in hospital Mum moved into Beauchamp House care home. All the staff were amazing in settling Mum in at short notice and providing first-rate care. We were able to visit at any time of day and every day of the week. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and I highly recommend Beauchamp House care home.
My husband was a resident at Beauchamp House Care for less than two weeks for palliative care. I am unable to fault the home in any way. All nursing and care staff were excellent in their approach, attentiveness, patience, attitude, care, communication and treatment of Ray and his family. Two of the nurses were outstanding. Nearly all the staff spoke to him slowly and clearly so that he was able to understand. The premises, facilities and outside were excellent and clean.
My husband needed urgent care after he fell and broke his hip at Easter. He has a very rare neurological illness called progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and his care needs are complex and will become more so. He was welcomed by everyone and I was reassured that he was safe and well looked after whilst I was trying to sell our house and move closer to him in Somerset. The nursing staff are fantastic and have taken time and effort to understand his illness and needs. The carers are kind, considerate and always very cheerful. Everyone at the home goes out of their way to help and make this difficult time easier for us all. My husband is settled now and I am close by so I pop in and out several times a day and always receive a warm welcome. I would highly recommend Beauchamp Gardens House Care.
Husband's sudden and unexpected arrival at Beauchamp following debilitating illness then hospitalisation. Great care given to deal with the shock of not returning home and his poorly state. I also received loving and understanding care, which continues each time I visit. I'm amazed and delighted at the care; the surroundings, the food, the professional actions of the staff at all levels, from housekeeping to management.
If and when I need care, this is where I would wish to be.
My mum was only in Beauchamp Country House Care for four days and unfortunately died suddenly but the care the home showed my mum, myself and family was of the highest kind. We had tea with Mum on her first full day which was lovely. On the Saturday, she took a turn for the worst and the staff held her hand and cared for her then she passed away. They treated her and us wonderfully.
Dad has been in Beauchamp House for eight weeks. He had trouble settling in but all the staff worked very hard to make him welcome and comfortable. He is now joining in all the activities and (whilst he wouldn't admit it!) he is enjoying himself. The home is very welcoming, spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly as well as professional. As his nearest relative, I am extremely pleased with everything. Thank you all at Beauchamp House!
My 101-year old mother needed urgent respite care following a fall in her home. Beauchamp Country House responded positively and pragmatically to the request, taking her in the same day and treating her wonderfully during her two week stay. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, care and professionalism. Were it not for the fact that we want her to be closer to her family, three hours away, then we would have happily left her there to enjoy the remaining days in comfort.
Mum had been in Beauchamp Country House Care for almost two years before sadly passing away last week at 97. I cannot speak highly enough of all of the team there; the care provided for Mum from beginning to end has been magnificent, personal, supportive and attentive. Thank you so much to everyone there. From our induction process two years ago, through the "guard of honour," as she left last week, more words cannot describe the performance.
My experience of this home began over 4 years ago when my husband had reached the age of 92 and could no longer be cared for fully at home. My impression was he appreciated his time here. After he died and I had lived alone for two years this was the first home I considered to spend the rest of my day and have no regrets. It is comforting that so many of the staff still remember my husband.
My husband was accepted at Beauchamp Country House Care on the 18th of January 2023 (with Covid) having been erratically ill for three weeks from hospital since the 28th of December 2023. My mother was a resident for 6 years and my father-in-law for two years. I was greatly relieved that Beauchamp House would accept him because there is no equal to the care and compassion that he receives. The staff are so friendly and caring despite the fact they are overly stretched at times. I never worry about him and he greatly enjoys the cuisine. Thank you.
