My sister is being looked after extremely well at Henlow Court. She settled in quickly. She enjoys the food, the company and the entertainment days. She is far calmer than I would have expected after going into full time care.
My mum has recently arrived in Henlow. I am very impressed with the level of care. Always clean and tidy. Staff are ever so friendly and the residents are so happy. My mum has settled really fast and I am really pleased. Keep up the great work.
My mother-in-law was moved to Henlow Court in February this year, as her previous home closed just after New Year. I would like to say that her personal care is second to none. She is always out of bed, washed and dressed, looking clean and tidy. Her room is spotless (previous care home, I have been known to clean her room on more than one occasion!) as is the entire home. Just like to say the manager and her whole team are wonderful, they couldn't be beaten - amazing care and cleanliness.
Having visited and as a relative, used 6 different residential/nursing establishments over the years, I am in a position to make comparisons. Henlow Court is welcoming, well run, shows key adaptability to very varied clients and has high hygiene standards. It is disgraceful that our society ignores and devalues all that carers/care establishments offer and that healthcare has been separated from feeding, cleaning and comforting the elderly. Henlow's Garden Herbs and tame rabbit are brilliant.

The Orders of St John Care Trust Henlow Court took care of my mother for 18 months before she passed away this February. I can not speak more highly of the care my Mother received over this period from both the Nursing and the Care Team. Two members of the staff are passionate and knowledgeable care experts. I have nothing but praise for the team and I knew Mum was in safe hands in very difficult circumstances. I shall miss my visits and the banter!
I am happy with the level of care.
The care is excellent. The room is not en-suite. The cooked food should be improved.
My aunt has been staying at Henlow for respite care. She is 93 years old of age. She is coming home today! This would have been impossible without the love and fantastic care she had while staying at Henlow Court. The staff have all been brilliant and friendly throughout the six months of her stay. My only concern was the dim lighting on that bleak winter night when we first visited. As I write this all the ceilings and lighting are being replaced and so far looking great. Thank you, Henlow!
The genuine care given to residents is outstanding. All staff, from management down, are fully engaged and it is clear that they really care for their resident. It also isn't just about the resident but also the wider family, who in the case of my father, is very important.
Thank you for looking after my mum so well. Mum's been ill in hospital prior to arriving at Henlow Court. I can't describe how well Mum's been looked after. Mum's quality of life has dramatically increased and staff are compassionate and caring. The staff have been a massive source for not just Mum but also my dad and I. Mum's been treated with dignity and respect and lots of understanding. As a visitor, I'm always made to feel very welcome as are other friends and family.
The care, support and professional staff offer my mum amazing quality of life. There is a kindness and compassion in all they do, with the best interest of the people living at Henlow Court at the centre. The staff also offer fabulous support to family and friends that visit; there is always a warm welcome and staff take the time to listen to any concerns or questions.
Very happy.
Henlow Court Care Home has an air of compassion, friendliness and happiness, a testament to the hard work and care provided by all members of staff. My sister could not have been in better hands. Thank you.
Being that my daughter was only with you for a very short time, all your kindness was out of this world, a shame she was unable to be with you long. Being only 53 years old, she was full of fun and we know you really all would have loved her. Many thanks to you all, you're all wonderful, all take care and safe, bless you all.
This was my first visit to a care home. I asked if they would accept my cousin in for respite. I chose Henlow Court Care Home based on its reputation and local knowledge. I was not disappointed, this is an excellent care home. My cousin and myself were treated with respect and made to feel welcome at all times. The staff were friendly and polite. I know my cousin was very comfortable there. When the time comes I would be happy to spend time there myself. A lot of the staff knew my cousin.
My aunt has now been at Henlow for 2/3 months. The atmosphere is so homely, and the staff are so friendly. They encourage my aunt to be involved in activities, and she is well looked after.
Mum needed some emergency respite care after not being so well a few weeks after major surgery. The team have been absolutely fantastic, helping Mum back to strength and ensuring she increased her food and fluid intake and mobility. If Mum needed similar care again in the future, she would not hesitate to contact Henlow again.
All staff are extremely kind and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. The chef visited to see if there was anything special that I would want to eat as I am o a pureed diet after oral surgery.
My mother went into Henlow Court in 2015 and has recently died aged 101. After just over seven years of incredible care in this remarkable home thank God our initial decision was justified. Obviously a difficult decision initially but a decision we never once regretted. The care at this establishment is exemplary. The staff give of themselves fully. They give their time and their love. My mother was so well cared for and we believe truly loved and I think that's a testament to the fact she lived to just over 101 is evidence of this. We recommend Henlow Court, the facility but most of all the time and dedication of staff who care for their residents like their own. Thank you.
