View Full Details of Linden Lodge Nursing HomeVery happy with the care received for our dad, staff go above and beyond to help dad and are also very friendly and helpful with family. Dad has settled in very well and we know all his care needs are met.
It's never easy to make a decision to put a parent into care. Especially as the child you now become the adult and the parent is the one needing your help. Linden Lodge made this process an easy one to navigate. Sister and her trusted team have been attentive and caring - not just to our parent but towards the whole family. Helping us to work our way through ways to help our parent adjust from leading an independent life to one of being cared for 24-7. They put on lots of activities for all the residents, bring in hairdressers and chiropodists. They care for our parent which means when we visit it's as a visitor not one of a carer giving us back the role as the child visiting a parent, enabling our parent to have dignity. All this is done with love and care - we are terribly grateful for the whole team and for all the love, affection and fun they bring to our parents life
Mom has been in Linden Lodge care home for nearly 4 years now . She is very happy and settled. She always says all the staff are very kind and helpful to her. Whenever myself and family visit mom all the staff greet us with a good morning and smile which we are really appreciative of. We cannot fault any of the care mom receives and the staff there work really hard doing a very difficult job but are always cheerful . If We have any concerns regarding mom we can speak to any member of staff including matron and these will be answered. The home is kept beautifully clean and the grounds are also very well looked after, in warmer weather mom likes to sit outside in either the courtyard or garden area which are both colourful . We are very grateful that we found Linden Lodge for mom, her happiness and welfare are well taken care of there which takes a great deal of anxiety away from me and the family .
My mother is a resident and is very comfortable there, which in turn takes a lot of stress off myself and other family members knowing she is happy, settled and getting great care. The staff are all lovely and very helpful.
Mum has been at Linden Lodge Warton since December. It was a difficult decision putting her there but we know she's in safe hands. All of the staff have been extremely supportive, not only with mum but with all the family too.
My mother moved into Linden in July 2024 and we (as a family) are more than happy with the care and respect she has received since then. When we viewed the home, we were struck by the friendliness of ALL the staff, from reception to cleaners and carers to nurses. We knew it was the right decision the moment we walked in. They have supported mums needs with respect and dignity and we'll be forever grateful. We were overjoyed to be able to arrange a birthday party for her in the family lounge, where they managed to get her out of bed to enjoy her celebrations. As she hadn't been out of bed since her admittance, we were thrilled to see her up and in a wheelchair and be able to make some lasting memories. The added touch that the staff had bought her a card and gift. We are aware that this will be the norm, it didn't go unnoticed or unappreciated. Many thanks
Our experience with nursing home care was a lovely experience. Linden Lodge staff went far and beyond for me and my husband to spend the last few days of his life together, staff very supportive, friendly and caring what a brilliant team. Management very supportive, very professional, making sure everything was in place i.e medications. I couldn't of wished for anything better.
Very satisfactory all round.
My mother time at Linden was a great experience for us both and her family. All staff from entering the building to leaving was always friendly and caring. I cant thank everyone who cared for my mother enough. Nothing was ever to much trouble.
Linden Lodge is an extremely pleasant home for a relative to live in. The care and staff are excellent, the rooms are comfortable with individual bathrooms.
My husband passed away last week at Linden Lodge Nursing Home of cancer at the age of 53. I can honestly say he/we were treated with love, care, kindness, dignity and compassion. I can't thank all the staffs enough. Whatever we asked for our needs, we were always met and staff went above and beyond to help us. At the age of 39, I never thought I'd be in the position of putting my husband in a care home but I can honestly say we made the right choice and knowing he was happy there really made this horrible situation so much easier. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Mum was a resident at Linden Lodge Care Home since November 2021 but sadly passed in January 2025 following her 90th birthday. Mum passed peacefully and with dignity. The staff went above and beyond to care for Mum and they were attentive and respectful to Mum's needs. I would also like to mention the reception team, maintenance team, domestics team and catering team who all showed their love and kindness for Mum during her residency and to her family. Thank you!
I have been bringing my neighbor to visit her dear brother for nearly two years now. We have always received a very friendly reception from all the staff who are also willing to help with our quires or refer us to another member of the team. The care shown to my friend is very good, the team go above and beyond to provide 24/7 all round care showing empathy and understanding of his needs whilst protecting his dignity. Thank you Linden Lodge Nursing Home.
Mother was cared for in a caring, loving atmosphere.
Her only contact, I nevertheless lived a long way away and was only able to visit infrequently. It was a great comfort to know she was so lovingly cared for, both personally and professionally. This was obvious from my visits when I was always offered kindness, understanding and hospitality. I am 82 and this meant a lot.
Having no prior experience in the care home sector, and following a difficult period in the hospital system, I can only praise Linden Lodge for the incredible service they provide. My mum spent 11 months at Linden Lodge following a period in hospital with a broken hip. She had unfortunately been in decline with Alzheimer's Dementia for some years prior to the fall and unfortunately, the incident had a significant detrimental impact on her condition. At the time of admission, the prognosis was bleak and we were advised the situation could decline quickly. However, due to the excellent care from the team in the high-level support environment, she remained safe and looked after for a further 11 months, well beyond what we could have reasonably hoped for. The staff in that area, particularly two staff members were invaluable throughout that time, and I can only praise them and offer heartfelt thanks for their incredible work.
My father had an 8-week stay in hospital before returning to Linden. The care that was shown during his stay (calls to us) and on his return (where the team had him back walking immediately) was exemplary.
I have previous experience with Linden Lodge Nursing Homes as my mother in law was resident at a sister home. We were very impressed with the care given to her so had no reservations when it became necessary for my husband to become a resident at this home. I have found all the staff very friendly and helpful especially when my husband first transitioned into residential care.
Mum has been a resident for 16 months now and I cannot fault the care she has received. All the staff are great and have such a lovely way with her. Even though she doesn't know where she is because of her dementia, she is happy and comfortable.
The service given to my mother is very good, the staff are fantastic they look after my mother and all the other service users with enthusiasm and work together to deliver a fantastic service. Linden Lodge in our opinion is the best place for my mother to be in with all her complex needs.
