View Full Details of Tabley House Nursing HomeI felt at home as soon as I moved here. This was due to the wonderful staff; they are so kind and caring and lots of fun. I have a beautiful room and enjoy the views of the parkland. My every request is met immediately.
My mother has been at Tabley for the last five years. She has been cared for by the staff with love and devotion. We as a family have been treated with respect and kindness and know Mum is in safe hands. We never have to worry about Mum knowing everyone is doing the best for her.
What a lovely home for my mum to live in. Mum is very happy at Tabley House, which to me speaks volumes. The staff are kind and caring, nothing is ever too much trouble, they have a sense of humour with Mum, which she loves. There are just two things I would change: The food could do with being cooked in house. And Mum is generally woken up just after 6am to get up have a wash get dressed and then go back to sleep in her recliner chair. I understand there are many people needing to get up but Mum shouldn't really be woken up in my eyes. This is a wonderful place and I would recommend it.
What a really wonderful place Tabley House is, I can't praise it enough. As soon as I visited I knew it was the place for Dad. Tabley was a perfect choice for Dad who didn't relish the idea of a care home as a very private, dignified gentleman. However, he settled in beautifully after breaking his hip at home and coming from hospital, soon becoming mobile again with the wonderful staff who encouraged him to walk to the dining room and lounge every day. He decided he would like to stay permanently and I never thought he would be the one to keenly join in with painting sessions, craft making, and all the quizzes! He has a new lease of life and has put on weight with the constant stream of meals, morning coffees and afternoon teas with cake, not to mention the sherry mornings! He is happy, fabulously cared for by all the staff and I have total peace of mind. I am so grateful and can't recommend Tabley House highly enough. Every staff member has a happy smile and cheery welcome. Thank you all so much.
My mother was becoming more infirm so it was decided to move her to a room downstairs. I didn't want her view to be the carpark and so they chose one that looked onto greenery and a tree. I was told daffodils grow there in Spring. They moved everything to the new room and she had settled in well.
Overall great care provided, I cannot comment on activities. I feel like the overall upkeep in the area could be better and is dated. But understand in the area this is down to the residents in situ.
It's a lovely place and the care is excellent. The staff are friendly, helpful and my wife has been very well cared for. Visitors are made welcome and we are very grateful to God and Tabley House Nursing Home. Before she knew her condition, my wife said she would like to be a resident here.
Only the best for our dad! After a good deal of searching, we knew as soon as we walked through the door that we wanted Tabley House to be home for him. After a number of months, sadly our much-loved dad passed away, but we had made the right decision in choosing Tabley House. Tabley has everything that a family would want for their loved one, from a wonderfully caring, dedicated and compassionate staff to a delightful, homely environment maintained by an excellent team. Dad (as did we on occasion - happy sing-a-long memories) also enjoyed the wide range of activities offered by an engaging staff. We are so grateful for the support and respect that was shown to Dad and for kindly welcoming us to the Tabley House family. We can' t recommend Tabley House highly enough. Thank you so much.
I first wrote a review in 2020 when my mother-in-law was fortunate enough to get a room at Tabley House. Sadly she passed away in March this year, but for the whole time she was resident the care, attention and understanding she received was incredible. All the staff are caring and treated her like a member of their own family. The staff have also been very supportive to us as a family which made everything easier for us. Their patience is unending and support is fantastic. Thank you all so much for all that you did and all you continue to do for others. I can't recommend Tabley House highly enough and if you are able to get a place for your loved one rest assured they will be extremely well cared for.
Dad recently passed away at Tabley House and I cannot thank the staff enough for their exceptional care and kindness, not only for Dad but for his whole family. We were made to feel totally welcome and supported 24 hrs a day, the endless cups of tea, sandwiches and cakes to keep us going. The staff just seemed to know the right thing to say and when to say it. We were all a part of the decision-making process including Dad, which meant so much to us all. Extra special hugs and just a reassuring hand on my shoulder from the manager and deputy said more than words ever could.
Mum has been at Tabley House for 2 years as she has Alzheimer's and can no longer care for herself. The staff are second to none. They create a lovely, welcoming, friendly place. They will go the extra mile to make residents feel comfortable, safe and part of a family. The staff-to-resident ratio is higher than I've seen in other homes, which means that residents have the best possible care at all times and I can't thank the staff enough for making Tabley such a wonderful home for Mum. Thanks.
I can't tell you the impact that Tabley House has had on our lives. My mum had been struggling with care at home (dementia, diabetes and falling over) and moved to Tabley in November 2023. It was a constant worry, whether she'd fallen over, eaten her meals, drunk enough water, or even gone outside. Since she's been at Tabley, she's properly settled in and is very happy. She greets me with a huge smile every visit. She's clean and healthy and seems to be enjoying herself. That is such a huge relief to me and my husband. We went to several care homes to have a look and I'm so glad we chose Tabley House. It's so much better than everywhere else we went. And because it's a nursing home, we no longer need to worry about anything. Tabley House feels like an extended family, people really care and are so supportive to us as well as my mum. I can't thank them enough and would thoroughly recommend.
Mum went into Tabley nursing home on 21st January, with dementia. It was the hardest decision as a family had to make. The staff welcomed mum with open arms. We were so comfortable with Tabley home. Everything with the home was so nice. Mum loved to dance, all the staff danced with her. I cannot thank Tabley more than enough. All the staff were there until mums end of care. Just an amazing home.
Tabley House is a happy, welcoming, friendly, homely environment with very high standards of cleanliness. It's caring, sensitive, reassuring staff are the heart of this residence, with their positive attitudes to provide the best possible care. They always have time for the residents and their family members to discuss any concerns, or just to have a chat. The home has provided a wonderful level of professional care that has given Dad the feeling of safety and security, along with giving him encouragement to make choices and live his life at his own pace. This is "The Best of Care" and we are very grateful to everyone for their hard work and dedication.
All of the staff at Tabley House Nursing Home personify caring! There is a wonderful homely atmosphere at whatever time you visit. Mixed with laughter, kindness, and encouragement. The staff are completely receptive to the resident's needs, and communication is excellent between all of the staff, the resident, and resident's family. Everyone is treated as an individual, with care, support, and dignity, and I would like to thank the manager and all of her staff for their hard work, commitment, and professionalism.
My father has been a resident at Tabley House Nursing Home for nearly a year now. Initially, my mother was with him but sadly she passed away in January. All of our experiences of the home have been very positive. There was obvious resistance to the concept of care home life but happily, after a short period of time, both of my parents settled very well into life at Tabley. The staff are very caring and have a great rapport with everyone. There is an overwhelming feeling of friendship and camaraderie between the staff and residents. I really cannot praise and thank the staff enough for caring for both of my parents.
My wife was transferred to Tabley House Nursing Home, following a serious fall at home, as a post-operative resident. During the months of residency, she has been nursed back with incredible care to more than pre-operative condition. I cannot speak too highly about all aspects of care and attention from at levels of staff and management. Every aspect of contact is treated with friendliness and confident attention. We find each conversation we, the close family, have with management and nursing staff gives us confidence that my wife's condition continues to be perfectly catered for. I have to say she now frequently says just how happy she is. Facilities, staff contact with fellow residents and the activities provided, the location close to our own home, beautiful room, excellent views across a lovely parkland, variety and quality of food, actually suggest it is even more than a nursing home, therefore, I'm not surprised she enjoys her new life so much.
The nursing home was absolutely brilliant with my mother-in-law. She was there for about two months and was looked after beautifully. The staff were always lovely and friendly. The building, both inside and out is incredible - lovely and clean and set in a fabulous location. As my mother-in-law was leaving, she received lots of hugs and best wishes from the staff which shows the super relationships that had developed - even in the short time she was there. I think she was sorry to leave as she had been looked after too well!
Myself and the family are very happy with the care Mum receives at Tabley House. The staff and management are more than helpful, and we feel able to chat at any time. Mum has improved so much since her admission to Tabley House; this has taken a great load off our shoulders.
Tabley House is in a beautiful location. This is fully supported by the very caring, knowledgeable and compassionate team. I cannot thank the team enough for the care, warmth and support they gave my stepdad during the last 7 months of his life. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tabley House.
