Windsor Road, Clayton Bridge, Newton Heath, Manchester, M40 1QQ
View Full Details of Doves Nest Nursing HomeWhat more can I say other than I'm so glad I waited for a placement for my mum here. The quality of the food and facilities is by far the best we have seen in the North Manchester and Failsworth areas. The neighbourhood is excellent, no gangs of youths hanging around. Don't be put off by it being in Newton Heath, it is an oasis that should really be under Clayton Bridge. The staff will do anything for you at the drop of a hat from the management to the maintenance team. The best team of people working in the best environment always makes a difference. Go visit it, it is more like a hotel than a care home. You do pay more but you get what you pay for, thats for sure.
A very pleasant and well-kept care home. Lovely grounds and facilities. Staff are excellent with high levels of care and attention. Décor is modern, bright and clean. Only reservation is regarding a lack of regular activities. Doves Nest needs to improve in the area of activities/entertainment. Otherwise all good.
Our son has been at the home since March 2022. And has settled quite well, struggled at first but we got him an electric chair which was a godsend! My son gets on with everyone here, carers, nurses, cleaners and kitchen staff. We have a good rapport with everyone as well.
