View Full Details of Euxton Park Care HomeMum has settled in here at Euxton Park really well. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and assist her with any needs she may have. Mum enjoys the activities and joins in most days. I would recommend Euxton Park to anyone who has similar needs to Mum.
I highly recommend it as the staff are lovely and always do their best at taking care of all their resident's needs. My father's stay so far has been wonderful, apart from him being upset about being away from home.
The staff are always caring, helpful and informative of my father's stay here.
A business or care home is only as good as the staff. On my many visits over a three week period, I have found the staff exceeding my expectations. Professional, caring, very friendly and my mother also feels the same! The facility is in beautiful grounds and is very fit for purpose and well looked after. Couldn't be happier. Thank you.
The staff at the care home are really lovely. The resident is very well looked after and the food is lovely too, so she says. Plenty of activities to do daily.
My mum has recently experienced some very upsetting days with my Dad as his Alzheimer’s has progressed, whilst he has been looked after and cared for brilliantly by the Euxton staff, it is the attention and care given to my mum that I particularly want to call out. She has been looked after in an extremely kind and caring way by all members of the Euxton Park team, and not just the nursing staff, but also the wider team such as the laundry team. Mum has been so touched by their kindness and especially for taking the time to sit with her, make her a cup of tea and help her to compose herself.
I am only a temporary resident but I am enjoying my stay at Euxton Park Care Home and I was made to feel welcome from day one. The staff are friendly, care about the residents and are always happy to help if I need them to do so. My room is warm and kept clean and my clothes and bedding changed regularly. The food is delicious, varied and is prepared and cooked at the home by the caters. The activities team gently encourage everyone to take part in the daily activities but it's not a problem if you don't want to join in, ok if you just want to watch. I enjoy joining in and so does my son when he visits. We are both extremely happy with the care I receive at Euxton Park.
Euxton Park Care Home is a very lovely warm and friendly place. the staff have been exceptional in all the help and care they have given to my friend. I feel that due to the care my friend has had here that has stabilised his condition and they have met all his care needs.
Since I became a resident two years ago there has been a significant increase in the number of high-dependency dementia residents, which take up a lot of carers' time. This has led to a decrease in time that the carers have to spend meeting the needs of residents. This is not in any way the fault of the carers themselves, but there is a definite need to recruit more permanent staff in order for them to be able to meet residents' needs in a safe way, as people's lives are at risk and affected. Although the attention buzzers volume has been reduced, they need to be reduced further as they continually sound away and are stressful and cause anxiety.
My mother has been in Euxton Park for the last two weeks, after being discharged from hospital after a fall at home. She is very happy here, everyone is lovely and caring. It's a very clean, light and airy place, with plenty of activities. I would hope that if my mother has to stay in a home, that she can stay here. The meals are all handmade and she says they are tasty.
Carers are so wonderful and caring. My mother praises the home. The activities coordinator is a wonderful person, my mother thinks the world of her and does her nails perfectly.
My husband was warmly welcomed into the home. He is well cared for, kept clean and tidy. Clothes laundered. Carers attentive and kind. Activities enjoyable. Visiting welcomed.
My wife has been here for 8 years she has been well looked after and is happy and relatively content. Unfortunately in December/January this year a number of regular staff left and have been replaced by agency staff. Whilst not here the majority of the staff have been good. Everything is about people. They decide the success or failure of any organisation. The staff knowing the residents is, in my opinion, all important. Hopefully, the new manager will be able to get full-time staff in the near future. Finding and recognising good people is not easy but is very important to continue good quality care.
Mum was a resident in the Nursing Unit from June 2021 to August 2021. Sadly mum passed away on 28th August 2021. I want to thank all the staff for their care and support during her stay, mum was aware of her diagnosis and the staff were brilliant at helping her come to terms with the illness. I particularly want to thank the Regional Manager who went above and beyond to help mum (and myself) when she was upset and her condition deteriorated. End-of-life care was exceptional. Thank you.
Cleanliness of room and carpet. Activities not obvious. Clothing gone missing and not looked after. Personal fan gone missing, then been replaced with old rusty and dirty one (different brand). Cleanliness of nails (dirty and long).
I cannot recommend Euxton Park Care Home enough. The love and care my mum received has been fantastic. We are always made welcome when we visit by the very caring staff.
Friendly, comfortable and very homely.
Excellent communication and extremely helpful people, very caring.
I moved into Euxton Park Care Home on the 18th of May 2021, and I love it. All the staff have made me feel so very welcome… there is even a very chatty, cute budgie in the reception area called Chico; he is so cute!
My dad has been in the care of Euxton Park since July 2018. I cannot stress enough how delighted we are with the staff, management and care that dad receives. Nothing is too much trouble, staff go above and beyond their roles to make sure dad is comfortable and looked after. They also treat my mum and myself with the utmost respect and have been incredibly supportive, especially during the pandemic. The home now has amazing activities and events for residents and these are delivered with enthusiasm and energy by the activity staff so well done to them. Although dad can't be involved in all the activities the staff go out of their way to make sure he's involved and encourage him to engage. Thank you to you all. You should be very proud of yourselves!
