View Full Details of Abbey Court CareThis is my third visit to Abbey Court Care and the service has been good on each visit. The staff are pleasant and met my care needs.
My mother has been a resident since 2018. She has always received first-class care from the staff. I have nothing but praise for the care she receives. Prior to Mum coming to Abbey Court Care I visited sixteen care homes and found Abbey Court to be the best for Mum.
My aunty moved into Abbey Court a while ago, she has really settled well, her room is really homely and I have a good relationship with her key worker, who goes over and above to help out as I live quite far from the home and don't get to visit that much. All of the staff are lovely and the management team are easy to talk to and help me speak with my aunty over the phone. Abbey Court is a really lovely care home.
I am happy here. The staff are good and look after me.
During my grandmother being in the home she has beneficially progressed with mobility and speech. Being able to visit her in a home as a family and my grandmother brings us so much joy. The staff are always on hand to help us and know her so well. We're always made to feel at home when we come and visit her. The staff have been brilliant with us, helping us to communicate with her. All staff ensure Nan's needs are catered for we're updated in the process. We especially love her bedroom where they've put photos up to make it feel just like home.
I like the food and the staff.
Very good. Good staff. Activities are very good and is the food.
Food modest. The staff are good. Want more meals out.
It's nice and warm here. I love my bed.
Very nice. Very polite staff. Very nice building.
From the first day bringing my mom, all the staff were so friendly and made me feel at ease leaving Mom in their capable hands, knowing she will be looked after. Thought the place was lovely and clean, bright with plenty of room to get around. The bedroom was homely and comfortable. Overall, the staff were so helpful and kind. A truly caring place, bright and cheerful.
My father's stay at Evergreen was wonderful. The carers, the accommodation, the residents were all so good. It is always daunting to leave a relative in this way, but the staff supported me as well as my dad. I would just like to say thank you!
In short, I would not recommend Evergreen. My mother-in-law can't walk and uses a stand aid to transfer her. Evergreen called me after about 2 hours of mom being there and said mom could not use their stand aid and was taking 3 to assist her (I find this hard to believe as I used mom's with her by myself the morning I took her to Evergreen). They also said they couldn't keep her. I asked if they could keep mom until I found her a place somewhere else. To this the reply was no and that I need to collect her as soon as possible. The social worker spoke with them and suggested that we take mom's stand aid to which they said no. The social worker did manage to find mom a placement thankfully. Mom has carers 4 times a day and these had been cancelled. Evergreen showed no compassion. Fortunately, mom has family to help resolve issues but not all elderly do. Please bear this in mind before placing your loved ones into Evergreen. You could get the phone call to say come and collect.
Staff went the extra mile in helping my mum settle into her new home. They were gentle and kind during a difficult time. They have continued to be friendly, supportive and caring. The food always looks appetising and smells wonderful. We feel reassured that they have her best interests at heart.
It's very homey. very comfortable. The girls are excellent and very pleasant. I'm happy here and happy with the service offered.
Evergreen is a lovely place to be - it is a lovely home.

Amazing staff and very caring. The staff helped out all the time when needed. It is a very homely environment with very friendly staff. They made my mom feel like she was a part of the family.
My friend was admitted as an emergency placement to Evergreen. The staff welcomed her with open arms and were very kind and thoughtful of her needs. She had never been in a care home before and was very nervous about moving in. She has settled very well and I can't thank the staff enough for all they have done.
