View Full Details of Braintree Nursing HomeI can't fault it, the care and consideration are marvellous and the staff talk to the patients which is nice.
My mother has been well cared for since her arrival in June. The carers are kind and considerate at all times. When I visit, I feel welcome. The home functions well for residents and visitors.
Very pleased with the overall care and accommodation.
The staff are great and easy to get on with. The food is good and there are plenty of activities to prevent boredom.
I have found this nursing home to be immaculately clean. The management is very approachable and all staff are friendly and professional.
My experience with Braintree Nursing Home is very good and the home is improving all the time. The staff are brilliant at all they are called for. Management are happy to talk at any time. Value for money is good and improving all the time.
My dad has settled into Braintree Nursing Home after being extremely unhappy previously in a residential home. His daily needs are met and his medication is given on time. All the staff are very smiley and friendly and go out of their way to help with any problems. One member of staff, in particular, is a godsend and keeps all the residents involved in activities and makes them all feel special. Dad enjoys the food and the way the staff takes time to talk to him.
The care you have given my mum has been very caring and so helpful to my mother and helping her to get better but it's a slow road to get better. The staff have been so supportive to our mother and family too and myself which has been so good. Mum has enjoyed the company from all and keep up the good work. Thank you. Note, on two times this has happened. Just one thing is please make sure the alarm/button, which are there for residents, are at the bedside where they can use for help etc. because my mother can't sit up out of bed to get to it. Needs to be with them.
The home has changed hands a few times and the improvements recently are noticeable. If there were any issues, we would contact the home but at present time, no issues.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. I am made to feel welcome every time I visit Braintree Nursing Home.
Staff at a very low morale as when I first came they were so happy. They are very well looked after. I'm glad to say my husband gets very spoilt. They keep the home very clean. So very happy.
My mum, who has Alzheimer's, was welcomed into Braintree Nursing Home, with care, patience and understanding. All the staff and carers are professional, warm and friendly and our family have always been made to feel welcome and included in all decisions regarding Mum's care. The food is really good and there are outings and in-house activities, to keep residents active and stimulated. The home has a real family atmosphere and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
I have been here since August 2021 till now, February 2022. I have loved the home since the day I came here. Everybody is so helpful from staff to the residents, I found two ladies who are activities people, who do activities with the residents. These staff members made all the residents join in the fun. All the care staff, from the kitchen to the cleaning staff are all very lovely and caring and the management are very understanding and helpful. I would love to stay here again. I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.
Finding a nursing home for mum was one of the hardest things my sister and I have had to do, but this place is not just a 'care' home, it is a caring home. Cosmetically it wasn't the smartest one I saw, but it was the warmest and most homely. After 6 months there my mum, who suffers from dementia, is so much more stable and physically healthy than she has been in the last couple of years. She loves the food and has gained weight. The staff are just lovely - I can't praise them highly enough, and mum always tells me they are wonderful. There is the security of having trained nurses as well as carers there. The rooms are nice and they encouraged me to personalise it with mum's possessions before she moved in. We are very happy with our choice.
Braintree Nursing home have provided and are currently providing excellent care for my father, as a family we have found the manager approachable, considerate and most importantly highly professional. I have appeared unannounced from the West Country at various times of the day and night only to find my father well cared for, safe. This nursing home has improved the quality of my fathers life through their dedicated holistic approach. I wish to take this opportunity to address the public compliance report and voice my astonishment that they were not awarded excellent throughout. It is an unfair portrayal for an excellent service provider and dedicated team.
