View Full Details of The Grange Care CentreMy mother has been at The Grange for nearly two years her care is outstanding. She is entertained daily and out standing care 24/7. All her Freind come and visit say what a great place and how wonderful all the staff are.
I have had a wonderful experience with this care home. The nurses and all staff are consistently kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They go above and beyond and are always ready to assist with any need. I highly recommend The Grange to anyone seeking compassionate care.
The Grange Care Center is the best by far. I like the fact that the manager sees the care home for what it is. A place for care (not how much profit can I make from this.) All the staff are so caring and show so much respect for each individual resident and there is a lot of laughter daily. Which you don't find everywhere.
My mum was a resident for almost four years and during that time all the staff at the home have always been caring and compassionate, supportive and truly gave us peace of mind knowing Mum was always in good hands, safe and looked after. The nursing and care staff were always amazing especially when Mum’s health deteriorated keeping us fully informed and not only caring for Mum but being there for us as well. They always made Mum look well presented even when she became unable to do this herself. Making sure she had the food she loved. Always letting her have chocolate which was her favourite even though she would get in a mess and would need help to get cleaned up. Nothing was ever too much trouble Mum’s welfare was always put first.
My brother was admitted to The Grange Care Centre just before Christmas 2023. I was unsure whether he would like it there as he had been living on his own for several years, and was not used to being around lots of people. However, the management and staff did everything they could to make him feel welcome. My brother is now very happy at The Grange, due mainly to the patience and compassion of the management and staff.
My mum has been a resident at the nursing home for about 18 months. She has Parkinson's and is 94 years old. She is very well looked after, and all the nurses and carers are so wonderful with her, and the whole family. They take an interest in how she is now, but also what she was like as a younger woman. They get to know the family and are caring towards us too. I couldn't recommend the home enough.
I visit my friend regularly at The Grange. She is very happy there. Staff are kind friendly and caring. They are welcoming and always greet me with a smile. My friend joins in all the activities and especially loves the garden.
From the moment my mother-in-law arrived the warm and inviting atmosphere made her feel right at home. The staff are truly compassionate and professional. The Grange Care Centre has exceeded my expectations in providing exceptional care and support for my mother-in-law. I know that she is in capable and caring hands.
My husband came to The Grange Care Centre in early December 2023, as an Alzheimer's patient, and I can honestly say that I have nothing but praise for all the staff and the care he receives. There is such a kind, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. There is real caring care, cheerfulness and compassion and patience. Everything is spotless. As a visiting family member, I am also made most welcome and made to feel as though it is my home too. The food always smells very tempting and I have even been invited to have lunch with my husband. I had a delicious Christmas lunch with him. I also appreciate that there is a lot of interaction from the staff with my husband, either doing personal care or doing repositioning or taking him to the lounge, feeding him etc. which means there is a lot of personal contact for my husband which I know will mean a lot to him, although he is not able to express it any more.
I have been visiting my Father at The Grange Care Centre on a daily basis for quite a while now and I am very happy with the care he is receiving. The care staff are wonderful and have built up a great rapport with my father. I, too, am made to feel very welcome when visiting - it's like calling in on family. It is also a real comfort to know that if there is a medical problem the nursing staff are on hand. Everybody in the office is exceptionally kind and friendly, always there to give any help or advice. I am very happy with the way my father is being looked after.
My neighbour went into The Grange after a period of illness which meant he could no longer care for himself. From the first to the last day he spent there, the amazing staff treated him with care, compassion and love. It's not called a 'care centre' for nothing: literally, everyone at The Grange cares! It's their default setting. Everyone is so nice! Even as a visitor, I was made so welcome and could see a really positive change in the person I was visiting. The nurses were brilliant and the level of care was the best I've seen anywhere. Setting-wise, it's lovely and quiet with the birds and the church clock as a very relaxing background. Communal areas are light and bright and the rooms look very comfortable and spacious for those preferring their own company. I would thoroughly recommend The Grange to anyone - I might just go there myself when the time comes!
The Grange is a great place with kind and supportive staff, who are always kind and caring. They go out of their way to make sure Mum has everything she needs. They know my mum really well, and she loves spending time in the lounge with her friends.
Staff are warm and welcoming, they always greet me with a smile. My friend loves being at The Grange and joins in all the activities. She looks forward to spending time with her friends in the lounge. The dining room is inviting and meals are very tasty. I knew from the minute I first arrived at The Grange that it was the right place for my friend to be.
I don't think my wife could be in a better care home. When you're in your final weeks and days, the only thing that really matters is the quality of care, 24 hours a day. All the staff we met who looked after my wife were absolutely amazing. I don't need to mention names as they are all fantastic, incredibly caring people. Amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of them.
My husband came to the Grange potluck from hospital, with different ailments. I was hesitant at first, so I stayed at the Grange a couple of nights to reassure myself that my husband was OK. Well to my delight, all was amazing and there was certainly no need to worry - all the staff were wonderful. My husband was extremely well looked after in all ways - from washing, shaving, dressing and helping him to eat. I was made very welcome and was also offered food, as I travelled a distance from our home. On the days I couldn't travel, I was kept informed about my husband so I didn't worry, as I knew he was in caring hands. Sadly, my husband passed away in August but I'm so grateful for the outstanding care my husband received from all the members of staff. A wonderful team. I can't thank you enough.
My Mother has resided in The Grange Care Centre for five years, the care is continuously outstanding and the core staff remain year after year and that makes for a happy family atmosphere that is well respected and trusted. It gives my Mother and the other residents stability which I believe is massively important to them.
We feel we have landed on our feet with The Grange Care Centre. My mother's care has been excellent. She has developed some wonderful relationships with members of staff and their attention to the little details that ensure her comfort, dignity and happiness are astounding.
Super friendly staff. Excellent care and compassion. Nan is cared for with empathy and the staff are cheerful towards Nan. The office staff and manager are friendly and approachable. We also chat to the staff and Nan says she likes all the staff.
Friendly, helpful staff. Had difficult times during Covid as lots of places have but continues to maintain good communication throughout. Mum says she likes staying at the home and that the ‘nurses’ are all very nice.
My mother needed a care home after a brief illness. I knew people who had been to the Grange and had been very happy with the care. On recommendation, I rang the home and found the staff answering the phone very helpful. My mother is now a resident at The Grange, she is very happy and has settled in well. I cannot fault the staff and have been blown away by how welcome my mum and I have felt.
