My father was here also a few years ago and I have only praise for the staff, even back then. No complaints, only compliments for all the hard work and dedication from all the staff.

Her nursing needs were quickly assessed and a care plan immediately implemented into her daily routing. As care outings are no longer an option for us, the lovely outside space is an added bonus.
Very happy with everything. My husband is suffering from a severe stroke since 02/02/2022. Hospital for three months then Beechvale Nursing Home. He can't walk or talk and is spoonfed and toileted. The food, I heard, is very good and plenty of fluids available. I don't have a view on certain things and my husband is hoisted from bed to chair and cannot communicate with anyone but I am very content with the home as it is a friendly, country approach to all.
Mum has been a resident at Beechvale for 18 months now. She has been treated by all the staff with respect, care and thoughtfulness, just the way you would treat your own family member. Staff have rallied around Mum when she really needed support and have ensured that she felt part of the 'family' that is Beechvale. Staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that Mum didn't feel isolated or alone. The home has a great feel and atmosphere and staff always have time to speak to both residents and visitors. I would highly recommend Beechvale to anyone looking for a new home for their loved one.
When I visit my gran at the home, she is always very well presented in her outfits. She is relaxed and familiar in her surroundings and interaction with the staff. The staff are friendly to me and my family when we visit but more importantly, they are kind, tentative and caring to my gran. The activities and programmes they have for the residents are very appropriate for each person and gran enjoys getting involved.
Mum has been a resident in Beechvale for almost 18 months, and the care, love and attention she received have been excellent. She is always clean and well-presented when I visit, and I have no set pattern for these visits. Her room is always tidy and clean, as are her clothes. She is always treated with dignity, love and patience by all the wonderful Beechvale staff.
Beechvale Nursing Home is simply the best! Their welcome is warm, and their care is excellent. Their motto is "we are one big family", and that includes the extended family. This is so true. You feel it the moment you walk through the door. They envelop their residents and their families with love and support. Beechvale is set in a beautiful country setting, with gardens for residents and families to sit in on sunny days. Inside, the rooms are made personal to the resident. There is a visitor's lounge and other little nooks to sit whilst visiting. The staff feel like family, nothing is too much trouble for them and always with a smile on their face. They are helpful, caring, empathetic and completely dedicated to the residents. With two staff in charge of daily entertainment, the lives of the residents are busy and constantly filled with music, singing, crafts, quizzes, laughter and lots of fun! My mother enjoys the company and her special group of new friends. It's emotionally difficult and heartbreaking to have to place a loved one apart from you. However, you know you're leaving them in safe hands in the care of Beechvale staff!
During the Covid duration, my mother has had care above and beyond. She has recovered from just lying in bed with next to no interaction to being encouraged to get up, feed herself and join in the group activities. The change in my mother has been somewhat miraculous and it is wonderful to see. The effort in the home during this last year has gone above and beyond. All aspects from cleanliness, interactive activities, food have been excellent.
The whole staff in Beechvale are absolutely wonderful, I can't speak highly enough of each and every one of them. I can rest easier at night knowing how well looked after my mum is. She is settled and content, clean and well cared for.
My mother has been in Beechvale for a few months now. The experience has, so far, been very positive. I have peace of mind that she is safe and well looked after. Having nursing staff there 24/7 has been a god send as they have spotted issues with he health before they have been able to become too serious. The reception staff are incredible, so helpful and efficient, and more importantly, kind. This is true of all the staff that I have seen. They care about Mum, kitchen staff, carers, laundry staff, all of them. They seem to go over and above to treat her with kindness.
Beechvale Nursing Home is top class in all aspects - from the extremely warm and friendly staff to the faultless cleanliness. For the short time my grandfather was in Beechvale, he was treated with dignity, care and respect from the second he arrived. He was in a previous nursing home on a temporary basis which was awful, but the transition to Beechvale was fantastic and my grandfather was a completely different man, for the better. Every staff member was like an extended family member. We would be a fussy family re cleanliness and we could not fault it. I would highly recommend this nursing home.
I'm delighted with the standard of care my dad receives and friendliness of the staff and variety of activities. Excellent atmosphere.
My mother has lived in Beechvale Nursing Home for nearly 2 years. During that time she has been looked after extremely well. Her room is very clean and her washing is done on a daily basis. Although she doesn't eat much the food is excellent and she enjoys what she eats. The staff, all nurses, carers and those on reception are so caring and attentive. It is manager brilliantly. Nothing is too much trouble. I would and have recommended Beechavale to anyone.
