Unhygienic, non-Covid safe, staff continually lied to me, fobbed me off,
failed to deal with my hospital discharge diagnosis of epilepsy, to the
point of denying I had any record of seizures, the list goes on and on.
Basic hygiene standards were not followed and ignored when I pointed the
most basic of failings out to staff. Residents were allowed to walk
around with their hands down their trousers and then handling food and
cutlery left out for others. Several residents openly coughed and
sneezed with no face protection, I was even ridiculed for wearing a face
mask in the company of these residents. No Covid protections were
followed, not even the Scottish laws at the time. In Scotland. Awful
dreadful place. Do not get sent there. Other residents told me how awful
it was. I'm glad I was able to leave when I was, and not in a coffin.
Thank God I made it out when I could.
