View Full Details of Nightingale Care CentreMy dad is in for a weeks respite for my mum who's his full time carer. When she arrived to visit him at lunch time today, he was still in bed, soaking wet as his convene hasn't been changed, breakfast and medication beside him on a table (which no one has ensured he's taken) and he's bleeding from his penis which has never occurred at home. When mum raised this with the person in charge they were apologetic but the care assistants were making the excuse that they are short staffed. This is not acceptable. These places cannot be taking people in and getting paid and not taking care of them in a humane way. The man still hadn't eaten an hour after my mum arrived as no food was provided. This is supposed to be time to give my mum a break and now she's taking him home. Absolute disgrace!
I am very impressed with every aspect of my aunt's care at this home and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Here for a limited period and have enjoyed my time due to friendliness and care received from staff.
My mother now calls the care home "home". She is very happy with all aspects of her care. Medically she receives very good attention and her health has improved greatly after severe flu. The food provided is varied and suits her appetite and taste. She is treated at all times with love and respect.
The Nightingale home provides a safe and caring environment for my mother.
Excellent attention. The care couldn't be better. Attention is excellent. The food is good.
We have found this to be a very good placement for my mother. The rooms are clean as are all the communal areas. The food is plentiful and varied with plenty of choices. All the staff are caring and attentive. They provide a high level of care and treat everyone as important people not objects and are very helpful to visitors to the facility.
