View Full Details of Hatfield Lodge EMI/Residential HomeI have generally nothing bad to say about Hatfield Lodge. Staff are excellent including management. Food is good, rooms are good, the cleanliness is good and my mum has been there for a few months now, she likes it there. Thank you all.
I cannot thank the management and staff enough for the excellent care that has been given to my mother since the beginning of admission. The quality of care that my mother receives is the best that I have ever observed and I have worked in many residential homes. The environment is incredibly nurturing offering kindness and love to all of their residents and nothing is ever any trouble even when they are at their busiest times. I never believed that I would see my mum so happy and so cared for before she arrived there and would recommend it to anyone who needs to make a choice for their loved one.
Lovely and very friendly staff. Dad has settled in well and my worries about how things would go for him have been allayed by the very attentive home manager there. The facilities, décor, layout are all great. It's clear that the home manager is a naturally friendly and kind person who has put my dad's needs and wellbeing first, as have the rest of the staff.
My father was placed at Hatfield Lodge following his release from hospital and subsequent dementia assessment in February. The staff are truly wonderful, nothing is too much bother and I am kept informed at all times if anything arises. The change in my father has been remarkable, he is always happy, made many new friends, loves the food, entertainment, and enjoys sitting in the garden. When visiting we are always made to feel very welcome, and when we can't it is always possible to speak to him on the phone, even when the staff are busy. We cannot thank you enough for putting a smile back on his face.
All the staff are very helpful and very kind to my mother. Since Mum has been at Hatfield Lodge EMI/Residential Home she has become more like our mother, she laughs and has taken an interest in people again. She doesn't seem angry at the world anymore. Mum has put weight back on since coming out of hospital. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and patience with my mother.
My visits to the Care Home are minimal and hence I rely heavily upon Care Home staff for updates, etc. To date, the Care Home staff alert me to any issues e.g. pocket money, clothing, etc and general wellbeing. Continuing in that ongoing care is good and this, coupled with immediate feedback to me on any issues as they arise, is working well.
The staff at Hatfield Lodge seem to do a difficult and demanding job to the best of their ability and look after my mother as well as they can given the situation. It is good to know that on occasion when I have not been able to take her out someone from the home will go with her to the park for a change of scene and maybe a cup of tea. The atmosphere at Hatfield Lodge seems friendly and the people who work there are very cooperative.
The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they go out of their way to provide kind and caring support. Both of my parents have lived at this home and my father was with some of the staff when he peacefully passed away. My mother has some complex and challenging needs and the staff at the home care for her superbly. This really is what all care homes should be like. Whenever you phone or visit the staff always go out of their way to find your relative and let you speak with them, even when they are clearly very busy. The feedback from my mum (and previously my dad) was nothing other than positive. It is a care home but most of all it makes the residents feel that they are at home.
My mother-in-law came to Hatfield Lodge following admission to the hospital and subsequent discharge. In the hospital, she was confused, unhappy and delirious. We have been so impressed by the care she has received at Hatfield Lodge. We could not ask for more in terms of her needs. She is clean, warm, and comfortable and is now smiling. She even has a glint in her eye which we've not seen for a long time. We are so happy with the decision taken for her to be there.
My wife has been at Hatfield Lodge EMI/Residential Home for three years and nine months and has always received the very best of care. She has always been treated with dignity and kindness. The staff are considerate and welcoming when I visit twice a week. Thank you to you all at Hatfield Lodge!
I find Hatfield Lodge EMI/Residential Home fills the requirement for my care and well-being for my wife. For things I find not good for my family and friends, parking is a must for family, friends and services. Hatfield Lodge has not got a parking spot/bay even for an ambulance, to pick up and return old people to Hatfield Lodge- offloading on the road is very hazardous and unsafe, and this needs to be addressed.
Great place, lovely atmosphere, my aunt always seems happy, staff never complain and are always helpful. Unfortunately, due to current circumstances, I can't visit, but I can always ring and talk to her.
I find Hatfield Lodge excellent in every way. Very clean, great staff and food. A great care home.
The team at Hatfield Lodge are kind, caring and compassionate. They provided excellent care for my father - when he was well and also during difficult times when he was unwell. They are responsive and available as needed; smiling as they interact with everyone there.
Very caring, mum very happy. Good staff.
Very welcoming. Good atmosphere. Good to know easy visiting times, no restrictions, relaxing areas, fair, rooms, bedroom space good with ensuite. Able to wash with ease. Additional plenty of clothes storage. Very pleased my wife is happy to be here, well done. Meals and drinks always available. Staff always ready to attend your needs.
The staff are very caring and cannot be more helpful.
Caring and understanding of clients and visitors' needs.
Warm, friendly home environment, carers attentive and reassuring to residents. Lovely clean bedrooms, lounge and dining room. Food and drink plentiful and to a high standard. Visitors made to feel welcome and always offered refreshments. Regular activities and entertainment. All residents treated with dignity. My mum is very well looked after at Hatfield Lodge and feels safe there.
Dad came to Hatfield Lodge earlier this year (2019) following a short period in hospital. Finding a specialised dementia care home at short notice (and within budget) was a daunting prospect but my sisters and I were soon reassured when we visited Hatfield Lodge. We had realistic expectations of what we could expect from a local home but we are all absolutely delighted with the care and attention that Dad receives every day at Hatfield Lodge. There is always activity in the home and that suits Dad very well. He seems to draw his energy from watching the busy staff moving about inside the building. Without exception, every staff member that I have met has shown genuine affection towards Dad and his day-to-day mood and his general health have both improved in the few short months he has been a resident. As a family, we would not hesitate to recommend Hatfield Lodge as a safe and secure residential dementia care home.
