View Full Details of Willow Court Care HomeI am very satisfied with how my wife is looked after. I come every day & the staff have always been good to me as well. I couldn't look after her at home but she is well looked after here and safe.
I had no experience of a care home previously and was extremely anxious and overwhelmed about everything but after talking with the manager and carers I was much more at ease about the whole process and felt I was listened to and was given all the information that informed me of routines and activities. The home felt welcoming, happy, caring and safe, everything that I wished for for my relative.
Willow Court always has a buzz about it whenever I visit my mother. Mum has stayed in a number of care homes in the Lincoln area (on a respite basis), though these did not possess the busy, yet pleasant vibe of Willow Court. All the staff I have met are polite and helpful. My mother tells me the food is good and generous portions too! Mum's room looks clean and tidy each time I visit. The activities team are brilliant and friendly, and importantly, the activities actually happen! Mum has been in other care homes that boast big sheets of activities - that never take place!
All the staff are amazing and look after us like family. My mum is very happy here, just sometimes there is not enough staff.
My grandma has been living here for the past year or more. And we are completely thrilled with all of the staff and their care and consideration to Grandma. We’ve never had a bad word to say, and feel completely assured that Grandma is cared for and looked after with be utmost respect. Me and my family do and will continue to recommend Willow Court to anyone we can.
Major concerns for our mother here. Visited her one morning at 11 am. Mum was in her chair with no clothes on naked, crying with her teeth falling out. Told the staff in no uncertain terms but it took them 45 minutes to respond. We reported the home but they managed to cover it all up. The other son did not believe us. Matron rang us by mistake one night leaving us a message for the other son warning him to watch out, whatever that meant.
I cannot thank the staff enough for the care given and consideration and kindness of my friend's needs. She myself and her family have been made to feel so welcome and my friend has said how home from home she feels. I cannot express how amazing the activities coordinator is, even when my friend is in her room they are having 1 to 1 with her. All staff and especially the manager are just amazing, thank you.
My sister came in before she died (thank God). She was in hospital before and did not do well. When she arrived at Willow Court Care Home her outlook was bleak. She overnight became the person we all loved, talking, laughing, etc. The care and compassion she received from management, carers, activities, etc. was beyond anything she had experienced before and we as a family thank you so so much.
Received a professional introduction to the care home. The resident was made very welcome and the staff went out of their way to include the resident in activities. Previously he had been unwilling to communicate. Allocated room, bright and cheerful. Staff were very attentive to his needs.
During my Mum's stay, my Father sadly passed away and the care and compassion shown by the manager and staff was excellent.
Mum became a resident in 2020. Despite the Covid restrictions she quickly settled into her new home. Staff were very supportive with regards to family visiting and communicating any changes. On 9 January 2023 Mum was put on end of life care. All the staff involved were kind, caring and compassionate and provided a high standard of care. They supported our family during this time and we were able to spend time with her. She died very peacefully on 16 January. Thanks to all.
My mother moved into Willow Court eleven years ago, so I have had a decade to witness how this home has performed. Throughout this time I have been continuously impressed by the level of care given to the residents. In those eleven years, a large percentage of staff have remained at Willow Court and this is an indicator of stability which I feel is a good thing. Staff are happy and show love and commitment to those they are looking after. Mum died on the 8th of December, but she was loved by the staff until the end. I am so grateful to them.
After a stressful and worrying time in the hospital, it was lovely to arrive at Willow Court and have my own room with peace and quiet. I have been included in all their activities, even as someone who is on respite care. All the staff are lovely and caring. I can eat in my room if I want or join others in the dining room. The care is wonderful 24/7.
My wife's dementia creates behaviour problems which have been handled with the most sympathy, tolerance and care. I have the greatest respect and gratitude to all at Willow Court.
Friendly, supportive staff caring for my dad. Keeps me informed when I call. Updates me if any changes. Good atmosphere. Dad seems happy.
My uncle is a resident and he has dementia. All of the staff have always been extremely caring and patient with him. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they all work so very hard. He, at present, is in bed due to his worsening condition and they feed him and make him as comfortable as possible. I love the way he is made to feel safe and cared for and would highly recommend Willow Court.
My husband came here from hospital after I had been to have a look around Willow Court Care Home and as soon as I had been in the home for ten minutes it felt really nice and homely. There was quite a lot of staff around and the staff member who showed me around was very nice and reassuring. My husband has been here a while now and has suffered a couple of illnesses and I couldn't be more pleased with the care he has been given. Everyone is nice and pleasant.
Constantly being told off for not making an appointment to visit when I get there at the time allotted after booking 3 days prior on the phone. Was told "no mask-no entry". I'm actually exempt but was forced to wear one to be allowed in at all. Was busy sorting out banking with mother with her room door closed for a few minutes as it was private, door was banged open and we were told off for closing it. "Door has to remain open at all times" was loudly announced. Also found most of mum's mail I need to go through with her, stuffed in random drawers or thrown in bottom of wardrobe. On one occasion I prebooked a few days before but when I got there she was actually in hospital having an operation! No one had told me she had even gone in, although they had known a couple of weeks in advance but still booked my visit.
From the onset, the care given to my mum has been outstanding. So much care and compassion from each and every member of staff, nothing has been too much trouble. The communication regarding Mum's care from the staff to us, the family, has been first-class. They really do care! It's obvious to me that the service users' experience is their utmost priority. An outstanding example of ensuring the 6 C's of care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment are met.
The home is always clean and tidy. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I was made aware of the Covid procedure straight away. The person I visit is always clean and wearing clean clothes, their general well-being has improved greatly. I am very satisfied that their needs are being fully met.
