View Full Details of St Anns Care HomeMy mother-in-law recently had a short 6-week respite stay at St Anns Care Home whilst recovering from a broken hip. I do have some experience of care homes and I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent care she received at St Ann's. All the staff, without exception, were lovely, very caring, compassionate and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was very pleasantly surprised by the amount of staff always around and the amount of time they spent with each resident. All the staff knew her and could readily and easily update me on her care which was reassuring. St Anns is well-maintained, clean, comfortable, and a very pleasant place to stay. Thank you so much for the exceptionally good job of looking after my mother-in-law and getting her back on her feet for which I am extremely grateful.
From the first day, I was treated with care and respect. The room was very comfortable and clean.
As a family we are very pleased with the exceptional care that our mother receives. Staff are attentive and have developed a lovely relationship with our mum. The environment is always clean and very well maintained. Staff respond to any queries or questions we may have and always follow up to check with us that we are happy with the care our mother receives. Overall we are very happy with our mother's experience and the support she is given.
Mum has been a resident at St Ann's for just over 2 years. I love the friendly, homely feel that the St Anns has. I always think that Mum is very well cared for and the staff are very aware of each resident's needs and how best to help them. The home is always clean and tidy. Its bright decoration makes it a lovely environment and the meals always smell and look really good. I am really happy that we found St Anns, it is a huge decision to choose a care home especially when looking for Dementia care but St Anns is a wonderful home and I feel that Mum is happy there.
My mum has now been at St Ann´s for over 7 years. On every visit I make, the care home is spotlessly clean and the staff are always polite and very friendly. The care my mum has received over the years has been exceptional and my mum is treated like part of the family of care workers. I live in abroad and the staff always keep me well informed of my mum´s well-being. Constantly the home is being decorated, and new furniture is installed to keep the 110% appearance. From my experience of care homes for sure St Ann´s goes that extra mile to make sure all the residents are looked after with the utmost care and loving attention. For me, they are the best.
I take my friend to visit her father. I think this is a lovely care home. When you come in there are no nasty smells, as there are in some places. Everywhere is clean, the staff are friendly and always helpful. The food looks and smells nice, important as some seniors have poor appetites. I rate this care home very highly. Please pass my thanks on to all the staff.
My dad has just recently died having lived at St Anns for almost three years. During this time, the staff have been wonderful. They are a super team, and I have a great respect for them all. They have always shown such compassion and professionalism. They have always kept me informed and supported me as my dad's health deteriorated. I have always felt welcome regardless of the time of day or night. They have always treated my dad with great respect, love and an abundance of care. I was glad my dad spent his last years in such a caring and happy place. As a family, we appreciate you all.
It is lovely to feel safe and cared for. I'm very happy here. The staff are all so good to me. On the whole, it's a much better place to be in. I have to thank all the girls.
Mum has been a resident for over two years now. I reviewed lots of care homes in the area and was so pleased I found St Anns. It’s not too big, but is large enough to have good facilities, including a nice dining room and a really good sized lounge. The garden is lovely and has some nice seating areas. The staff have been great and listen to what the residents want. Mum’s health needs are taken care of. For those that want to take part in crafts and activities, they are tailored to the residents needs.
I found the staff extremely kind and caring and very easy to approach.
Mum has continued to thrive this year and I am always delighted to see the care and attention that the carers give to the residents in what is a very challenging job.
St Anns Care Home is very good with a friendly family atmosphere. I am so happy that my Mum has settled in there. She has become brighter and happier. Mum has also made quite a few friends and the staff are absolutely brilliant. The care home provides various activities and entertainment which my mum thoroughly enjoys. Thank you.
Very happy with all the care at St Ann's. All the staff are friendly, caring and helpful. I would like to thank one staff member for organising and taking my mother to a local school for a visit. She was a teacher there for many years and she was so happy with the visit. It meant a lot to her and was really excellent personalised care in action.
My mother developed a very painful mouth infection. Thankfully the staff spotted problems early, got treatment and prevented a worse condition from arising. They were very caring throughout and kept on top of the situation. She is 93 so we cannot be too careful! Thanks to all.
My mother is very happy at St Anns. All the staff are very good and caring. She particularly enjoys going out to the "choir" organised. Thank you for all your care.
We are very happy that our mum is cared for at St Anns. The home is always clean and well maintained. From the moment you step through into reception, you can feel the homely, caring atmosphere. My mum has been a resident for almost four years, and I have always been impressed with the level of care and love the staff give to residents and their families, especially with the extra pressure they have all been under. 10 out of 10.
I find the staff to be very friendly and helpful; they always have time for you. The place seems a happy place, and the residents are always treated with dignity.
The home and gardens have a really good feel to them, and the staff have all been extremely helpful both to my mother and to me. I have been involved in any major decision making. There seems to be a good team spirit among the staff. I have seen nothing but kindness and patience with my mum, who has advanced dementia.
Thoughtful and caring staff, sensitive to the needs of the residents. They keep us well informed in these difficult times and do their best with visiting. They have a very caring attitude to their dementia patients.
Once again, I have to compliment the staff at St Anns through the recent difficult times; they have been professional while still being loving and caring to my mum. Well done, St Anns.
