View Full Details of Lisburn Care HomeMy wife spent her last 11 months in this home and the care she received from all the staff proved excellent. Her regular visitors were made very welcome as they helped feed her yoghurts and jellies in the room she considered home. She was able to take part in the activities with some assistance from the lady supervising. Any problems with her care were reported promptly and dealt with quickly as her health declined. Many thanks to all involved.
No problems at all, first-class care.
Lisburn Care Home has been providing care for my mother-in-law for 9 years and during this time she has been cared for and loved by so many staff. They always accommodate us with visits and keep us updated on her health when required. As a family, we are very grateful that the person we all love very much is in such a loving care home.
My sister has been in Lisburn Care Home for the past five years. She has been well cared for in every way possible. The staff are very attentive and very friendly. It is always a pleasure to visit this home, myself and my family are very happy with the attention my Sister is getting and I am always informed if the slightest thing goes wrong. Thanks to the manager and all the staff for their friendship with me over the years.
The management, office staff and the care staff are all very pleasant, approachable and caring. They create a really good atmosphere in the care home and I am kept informed when needed regarding my mum. They are all excellent, lovely people.
We were very pleased with the accommodation. The care and attention shown to patients in this care home have been beyond our expectations. The nursing staff are very friendly and helpful. They really do a good job.
The care of putting and getting you up in the morning is excellent. The washing and dressing of you in the morning is also very good. The service and food are very good and always warm. I would say that 90% of the care workers and 10% need more training. The actual nursing staff are actually excellent, helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend it for its happy atmosphere, good food and excellent care and attendance.
After a bad fall at her own home, my mother has spent the last five months in this wonderful rehabilitation centre from which she was recently able to return home. The care she received was of an exceptionally high standard (as a former Home Manager myself) on our initial entrance my husband and I noted the atmosphere was peaceful and calm. A reassuring beginning. The high standards of the home were evident in all aspects, i.e. the caring and considerate staff, the food, the decor of the home and rooms, and the interaction between both staff and residents. Nothing was too much trouble. Every need was met with care and consideration thanks to the Home Manager and her dedicated team. Thank you from a very grateful Mum, Daughter and Son-in-Law.
My mother was very well cared for at Lisburn Care Home. The staff are so nice and friendly to Mum and myself. Mum's room was bright, warm and clean. We were able to personalise her room with her own wee things, pictures, lamps, etc. Mum was very comfortable, well fed with good dinners and refreshments several times daily. I could not fault Mum's nursing care and thank all the staff for all they have done for Mum.
When leaving hospital I was worried and anxious about going to a care facility, having never in my entire working life as a carer in different aspects of community care, where I was required to both work and address the usual requests of me in attendance of patients connected to all my different jobs at several facilities throughout my working life. I discovered I had no reservations whatsoever when coming to Lisburn Care Home. The management and staff were kind, caring and exacting and always quickly available to facilitate in every possible way to ensure that the patients were a friend and constantly at hand to ensure also that every aspect of their questions, anxieties and needs were met and to reassure the patients of their support and help provide in everything that's needed to be discussed and resolved.
I have been in Lisburn Care Home for the last 5 months and have found the staff more than helpful. I lost my husband recently and they have helped me through some rough days, letting me talk of him and comforting me. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious and caters for your need.
On my arrival, I was pleased to note the care home was so fresh and clean. I received a lovely welcome from the staff on duty. My meals were nourishing and well-presented. The nursing staff were very pleasant and approachable, very quick to arrange medical help when needed.
My mother who is 91 years old was in Lisburn Care Home for five weeks recovering from a hip operation. Her stay was taken care of with the utmost professionalism. All staff went out of their way to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for her. She was also treated with great dignity throughout the period and the staff attended to all her needs without hesitation. Needless to say, she gained weight during the period as the food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this care home to anyone having to consider short or full-term care.
Lisburn Care Home was a friendly caring place for my mother who was made to feel safe and secure. she was dealt with in a reassuring and reliable manner. The home was also receptive to all my mother's visitors. Excellent all round.
Our mother has been in Lisburn Care Home for nearly three years. At first, it was excellent, we could not have been happier. Mum had regular carers both day and night and she got used to them and felt safe. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of changes and different managers and a lot of the good staff have been let go and a lot of agency staff. This makes Mum nervous and upset, especially at night, when she has two men put her to bed. The regular staff are great, just not enough of them, especially for help with the commode.
In my experience, I find Lisburn Care Home to be very well run and an excellent care team in place.
Was down at a Halloween party yesterday, it was lovely, all the staff get involved making sure all the residences can join in the games and after there was party food for everyone. Again thanks for all the hard work.
I'm very pleased that my mum is a resident in Lisburn Care Home, I live in Merseyside in North West England and come to see my mum every 2 weeks. She seems to be happy and settled in Lisburn Care Home. Every member of staff - nurses, carers and all other staff are friendly, competent and very hard working - always kind to the residents.
When my husband was discharged from hospital, it became clear that he would require twenty-four hour nursing. As well as two strokes which compromised his swallow and left him unable to stand, he had dementia and signs of bowel cancer. Since it was Christmas there was, in the Lisburn area, only one bed available, and it happened to be in Lisburn Care Home, which might not have been our first choice. He has been resident there for two years, and had his eighty-eighth birthday on 5th February. Since his admission, various homes have contacted us to say that they do have vacancies, but as well as upsetting my husband’s dementia by a change of location, we feel that Lisburn Care Home is as good as any other in the area. He considers it a home-from-home, and it would be cruel to let him think otherwise. The staff know him, and he knows them, and we are grateful.
I am very pleased with the care provided by Lisburn Care Home. It is very clean, rooms are spacious and staff are friendly and professional.
