The care my aunt received during the last few months of her 104 years was second to none. Staff are wonderful and treated her with kindness, respect and dignity. The decision for my aunt to go into a care home was not easy, but we 100% made the right choice in making Llys Newydd her home and she was very happy there.

Mum was a resident at Llys Newydd from October 2016 to May 2024. During this time she was always treated with dignity and respect. The care provided to her was exceptional by all members of staff. We have had many laughs over the years with Mum and the staff and were always made to feel welcome and party of the Llys Newydd family.

A very friendly and warm care home. The staff work extremely hard. Lovely atmosphere, and all the residents seem happy and relaxed. All residents are treated with dignity and respect. There is a good variety of food - plenty of choice and is given to residents at different times of day. It is always clean.

A wonderful afternoon tea was put on for my dad's 90th birthday. A really nice spread, delicious food and a cake, and made my dad (who is blind and has had two recent hip replacements) feel very special. Overall, the staff are so caring and so very kind. Thank you all.

The care provided by the staff at Llys Newydd is second to none. Caring and supportive at all times. They provide a wonderful and homely atmosphere. The staff work so hard and yet always have time for a word or two and a smile; they provide an outstanding environment.

Myself and my husband were invited to a Christmas afternoon tea with my mother, who is a resident at Llys Newydd. The staff had prepared delicious sandwiches and a lovely selection of cakes. The tables were set up to look very Christmassy. Once again, the staff at Llys Newydd went above and beyond, and myself and my husband spent a lovely afternoon with my mother.

My husband is very happy in Llys Newydd Care Home. He enjoys the meals and eats well. He enjoys the odd day in his room and the staff are always checking on him. If asked, he says: " he loves it here". The staff are very patient with him at all times. He is kept clean and tidy always. They are also very kind and patient with me, as I do fuss over him, for me it's like a home from home.

Every time I visit my mother, she is always clean and well presented. She has settled in really well which reassures me. There are always plenty of activities. It is a nice peace of mind knowing my mother is having excellent 24-hour care for her needs.

I am grateful for the care and kindness my mum receives at Llys Newydd. The staff are patient no matter what they have to deal with and do all they can to make Mum happy and keep her safe.

I am extremely happy with my mother's care. The care home always puts on excellent entertainment. Today we had our themed tea party. The standard of sandwiches and cakes set out in a high-tea fashion was excellent. I am always made and feel welcome and my mother is happy which is the main thing. Thoroughly enjoy the entertainment myself.

My mother has been a resident at Llys Newydd for just under three months. The whole experience has been first class with the standard of care and the quality of the staff first class. I cannot think of a better place for my mum to stay.

The team at Llys Newydd recently supported me with respite care for my husband who has early onset dementia. My husband's first words when he was welcomed in were its very nice here, we got that feeling of homeliness straight away. Everyone who was involved with his care and emotional support for myself were exceptionally compassionate and caring, helping him settle and taking time to speak with me so that they were able to personalise his care. I was encouraged to keep in touch at any time for reassurance as this was a new experience for us both. My husband was made to feel at home and extremely well looked after. The room was well equipped, cosy and clean. The communal areas are bright and inviting with lovely outside space. I can't thank the team at Llys Newydd enough for their guidance with this, my first experience of respite care, and for treating my husband and I with such great respect and kindness.

My mother was admitted to Llys Newydd at the height of the Covid outbreak in 2020. I have been extremely happy with the care she has received. The staff are invariably compassionate and professional. I would thoroughly recommend Llys Newydd. For the first time, in May 2021, I was able to visit my mother in her room, on compassionate grounds. The room and the interior of the building are lovely. Spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. My heartfelt thanks to all who look after her with such care and dignity.

My only sister is in Llys Newydd Care home, I am 93 years o,d and my sister will be 90 in September. I have seen when visiting great kindness and care by the staff and will come to live here if I needed to (put my name down on the waiting list please). Thank you all for everything you do for all the residents. God bless you all.

Since arriving at Llys Newydd approximately four months ago, my mother has settled in well, is being well cared for and enjoys all her meals. The staff have been courteous and friendly and have accommodated window visits and visits to the pod as allowable during the COVID crisis. Llys Newydd is a recommendable care home with a welcoming and caring atmosphere.

Happy with the care and support provided during the difficult time of the COVID crisis. Accommodating of outdoor visits and window visits - happy to be able to see her regularly.

Llys Newydd Care home is superb. My mother has received an excellent standard of care since she came here. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you. The rooms and public areas are bright and airy and there is a homely atmosphere here as soon as you walk in. All the residents are well fed and entertained and every resident is made to feel special. It is wonderful.
