View Full Details of The Boynes Care CentreI am very content with the care provided. Thank you to all the staff, who are always polite, happy to help and are very cheerful at all times. There are a variety of activities that all the residents are encouraged to participate in.
Our mother was only at the home for a short time, but during that time she was cared for with kindness and compassion. All staff were friendly , approachable and accommodating. Even bringing us tea/ coffee & biscuits. Thank you so much for making mums last days comfortable.
My mum was only in The Boynes for a short time but during this time I was overwhelmed with their kindness and the care they showed not only to Mum but to me and my family. They organised a birthday party for her which was lovely.
I was so pleased we managed to get my late mother into the home. It had a really comfortable feel to it and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. This in turn reassured me that Mum was comfortable and well cared for by a professional team. Visiting here there has always been a good experience and it was very touching that members of staff came to the funeral.
What an amazing Care Home this is! Highlights of recent times have included a wonderful Teddy Bears Picnic with two very talented and professional musicians and the biggest teddy bear we have ever seen! Then there was the Dog Show; a lovely relaxed informal atmosphere; all the dogs got on well together. It was just pure fun. As a family, we have enjoyed special gatherings with picnic lunches and afternoon teas in their delightful walled garden. Nothing is ever too much trouble, we are always welcomed and helped out with any arrangements. Some of these visits have been particularly significant for my wife with her friends coming from New Zealand, France, Italy and Scotland. We have enjoyed two delightful birthday parties at The Boynes. In so many ways the Carers and Staff go to such lengths to make us feel included. As one of my wife's close friends remarked "the staff are so lovely with her, she couldn't be in a better place".
The Boynes have been caring for my mother since September 2023. They have been exceptional in their care towards her. The staff are kind, understanding and professional and have ensured my mother's needs are met at all times. Her room is kept clean and tidy and the home always appears well organised. They have welcomed us as a family and nothing is ever too much trouble to organise whether it be a small gathering with mum's friends for a birthday lunch, a picnic in the garden or a visit home. There are numerous social events organised by the home which are full of variety and inclusive of all. To date, we have been very pleased with the quality of care received at The Boynes.
My uncle, who had been in and out of the hospital needed 24/7 nursing care as he was no longer safe to leave between home care visits. The home manager came to assess him, and he was able to move to The Boynes the following morning. They even provided the transport. I have every faith in The Boynes as my mother was also a resident here until she passed away in March.
It was my mother’s 97th birthday on 2nd January and the wonderful staff arranged for her to meet her family (15 of us in all including 4 great grandchildren) at a village pub restaurant near Evesham. We all had a fabulous day with her and huge thanks must go to the carers who accompanied her. In the time that mum has been at the Boynes she has met nothing but kindness and caring and she loves you all!
I am very happy to give the Boynes a glowing report. The nursing care was very professional and nothing was too much trouble to make residents comfy. My husband had his own room with an en suite. Everything was very clean. All the staff were polite and cheerful. The food was excellent and well-cooked. I would recommend this care home to anyone who wants their loved ones to be safe and well cared for.
The Boynes Care Centre provides a lovely calm environment where the residents are kept safe and well cared for. The staff are always very welcoming and are kind, caring and gentle with mum. Any concerns or issues are always discussed with us immediately. Mum's health and comfort are uppermost. A weekly activities sheet is always on display with many pursuits available.
Excellent home, has looked after my mother's needs for a number of years. Very friendly and highly competent staff. The Boynes Care Centre is truly a home from home, we particularly enjoy all the great activities organised - this adds a very social dimension - the icing on the cake!
Excellent care home with friendly and empathetic staff. The home is very clean and tidy, the meals are nutritious and the activities keep the residents engaged and are much enjoyed.
The care and kindness my mother receives at The Boynes is exceptional. The staff are kind, caring and dedicated to providing person-centred care. She is living with dementia and her life has been transformed from struggling with her dementia difficulties to being a happier and more fulfilled individual. If my mother isn't hungry at lunchtime she is offered bananas, which are her favourite fruit. Her anxiety has lessened so that she can join in and look forward to all the different activities on offer and she has made friends with both staff and residents alike. She enjoys watering the plants in the garden too which makes her feel helpful and purposeful. She dances at regular musical events encouraged by the staff, making her feel valued and it is something she doesn’t want to miss. As a relative when I visit, I am also always welcomed and greeted with warmth and kindliness - nothing is too much trouble.
Mum came in for respite care for two weeks. She has poor memory and cognition. My brother visited regularly to support her and she was looked after very well. She told me that all the staff were very kind and that she enjoyed the food. The staff ensured that Mum mixed with other residents that had similar abilities and this made Mum's stay more comfortable and meaningful. She enjoyed going out in the minibus. She liked having her hair done. Attention to just the simple basics made her stay at the Boynes enjoyable. Thank you.
I think it's brilliant at The Boynes. The staff are all very nice; you couldn't get better, the finest there are. If I don't like the food, they make me something else straight away. I'm looking forward to coming back tremendously. I love it here.
It is only since the restrictions have been relaxed that I can fully appreciate how special The Boynes Care Centre is. The staff are so kind and caring - nothing is too much trouble. The range of activities is very comprehensive with something for everyone - cooking, art, exercise, music and gardening. The residents are taken out for drives in the countryside. There was a wonderful party to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee which made me feel part of The Boynes family. I am confident that my husband is loved and cared for to the highest standard which is a great comfort.
We are very happy with the support and care provided at The Boynes. My wife is extremely pleased to visit The Boynes. The staff go above and beyond to ensure I enjoy my time.
I have been treated with kindness and consideration by all members of both care and nursing staff. I have never felt I am a nuisance even when I probably am. There is a happy atmosphere and everyone appears to enjoy working here. Long may the regime continue.
My mum has been a resident at The Boynes Care Centre for the last 2 years she is 95 and wheelchair-bound. The welfare and standard of care continues to be superb. My brother passed away in April, he and my mum were very close and this hit her badly. The staff at The Boynes Care Centre stepped in to support us through this tragic time and went the extra mile every time. We have been lucky enough to hire a wheelchair-accessible vehicle as and when needed. This necessitated a change to a specially adapted wheelchair. The staff at The Boynes Care Centre were on hand on each of 3 occasions to do this on arrival and coming home. This meant mum was able to visit my brother in a hospice to say goodbye, go to his funeral (including a stop-off visit for toileting before proceeding to the wake), and to go to the internment of ashes. Then there was so much more on each occasion, staff were there waiting to comfort my mum on her return. In conclusion, The Boynes is not just a care home it is a family to whom we are so very grateful.
Mum thoroughly enjoyed her two weeks of respite care with you; after she had been quite poorly and run down after Christmas. The staff took great care of her - nothing was too much trouble. She found the food delicious, and the staff were really helpful in assisting her to use her iPad to get in touch with friends and family. She found the room comfortable and enjoyed the attention - having help to shower and having her nails done were very much appreciated too. A big thank you to all of the staff - from a very grateful family - we collected a much healthier and happier Mum after her respite with you!
