View Full Details of Byron Lodge Nursing HomeOur dad became a part of the Byron Lodge family in January 2025. I really didn't know what to expect as we've never had a parent in a home before. From day one, we was put at ease by the fantastic staff of the home and our dad seemed very comfortable and settled. It's now March and dad has got so much confidence and is now able to sit in a reclining chair in the homes communal room, so a big well done and thank you for your help with getting dad to do this.
Hoping to go back for a one-week holiday in October 2024. Facilities, loo too low for me.
Whenever I visit my friend, she always has clean clothes, bedlinen and hair. Noone knows when I'm going so this is done when necessary, not because a visitor is expected.
My dad has been here a short while, but I can't fault the care. The staff are diligent and attentive to his needs and have a great rapport with him. In his own words, " The staff are pleasant and caring".
Finds meals ok. Does enjoy some of the activities.
The level of care provided is excellent and when visiting the home, it is very pleasing to notice that there is always staff around attending to the needs of the residents. All of the staff are very approachable and we, the family, are kept fully informed of any concerns there may be about our relative.
I find every time I visit my mum there is always a lovely atmosphere. My mum has a lovely relationship with the staff and is very happy in her home.
Home clean and comfortable. Staff are first class. Also nice and happy. Mother is very happy. She liked the food, her room is nice.
Very nice place, my sister-in-law came here in a very poor state and she has settled in nicely, is much more stable and reasonably happy having been in and out of hospital for months. All staff are caring, patient and kind and seem happy in their work.
I have found most of the staff extremely caring. On my visit, my sister is always clean. Any complaint is mainly about the food as she says it is awful and can't eat it.
Mum-in-law has been a resident since April 2022. She loves it here and is comfortable and well looked after. All her needs are catered for and the staff are excellent.
I have found the staff to be caring and professional, helpful at all times and some going above and beyond what is required of them.
I cannot praise Byron Lodge Nursing Home enough. I have always found the home to be spotless, and the staff welcoming and very caring. It is my firm belief that my sister could not be in better hands.
