View Full Details of Bayith Rest HomeVery caring and lovely home for my mother. Clean, safe, fun and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better place to care for her. Regular activities but not made to do anything they don't want to. Privacy when wanted, lovely community, good food and caring environment.
Every member of staff is warm and welcoming, from management to the cleaner. They all make you feel like you come home from home. As a private carer, you always feel nervous leaving clients in a home but I have absolutely no worries at all.
I can't fault this care home in any way. My mother was here for 2 years before her passing last month. The manager and staff went above and beyond for her. As I live in Australia I was very worried about leaving my mother anywhere, especially with her very complex health issues. The manager in particular worked so hard getting to know my mother and her needs. It was like leaving her with family. Nothing was too much trouble and the communication was second to none. Didn't matter what day or time I inquired about my mother, I always got an answer. Her wishes and that of her family were always followed. The staff were so friendly and looked after my mother to a high standard. I will never forget what they did for my mother and it made a very tough couple of years easier to bear. I can't recommend this home enough. I wouldn't put a relative anywhere else. If there is one thing I would change it would be to showering facilities, but this is a minor issue.
I visited Bayith at New Year and knew straight away this was going to be my wife's new home. Everything just felt right with the staff and the residents I spoke to. This feeling has proved to be right as my wife is looked after with love and care and I am made so welcome when I visit, my grandson and friends have been very impressed when visiting. I cannot recommend Bayith enough. Well done everybody.
My sister was at Bayith for approximately fifteen years and throughout this time was happy and content while she had her faculties, sadly over that time she deteriorated but always had the best of care. The staff were always pleasant and helpful, particularly at the end when we were trying to organise her funeral arrangements and took up a lot of their time.
My mum became a resident of Bayith Rest Home in November 2022 until her passing in February 2024. Mum had dementia and was no longer able to look after herself, so after visiting many rest homes we decided on Bayith. We loved the friendly atmosphere and that it was small enough for it to seem like home for Mum. As soon as we met the registered manager we knew this was going to be Mum's new home. I cannot speak highly enough of the home, the staff and everything they've done for Mum in her time there. They really have looked after my mum as if she were their mum, lovely people!
From October 2019 - June 2022 my mother was in Bayith Rest Home. The care was very good to begin with. Once Covid started and then when we could see her it was always difficult. No regular feedback, no copy or saw any Care Plans. The fees went up very high, no entertainment organised or hair being done and a high turnaround of staff. My mum has since moved and is now much happier and stimulated in her new home.
Wonderful caring staff towards residents and visitors. After emotional visits to my mother, gave me reassurance and comfort lovely people Lovely place. My mother could not be in a better place. Very happy.
I can not say strongly enough how amazing the staff are here, many are very young, but are so compassionate about what they do at the care home. My very dear friend has been in here nearly a year, and the staff love her as do her close friends of which I am one, and nieces and nephew that visit too. I struggle at times to cope to stay long as so upsetting seeing people with this awful disease. But nothing is too much for the lovely staff, one was doing a pedicure, manicure for one lady, I was blown away with the tenderness shown.
My mother has been there for longer than expected due to ongoing health issues. She also suffers from dementia and keeps the staff busy! The care she gets is excellent. The carers are lovely and friendly. The healthcare she receives is fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anybody looking for respite or long term care. You can know that your relative is being cared for and their every need is being met. My mother goes to her day service while she is there so she is not there to take part in activities. I will use this home for respite every time.
Dad has only been there a couple of months. He has had a few problems with his Dementia, he loves all the staff there and they love him. It is a horrid illness, but the help and care they have given him are brilliant, I cannot fault them in any way. I know he is looked after and safe, he is very dear to us, and even though he has only been there a few months, I feel he is also very dear to the staff there, for which I thank them all very much. If I could put extremely excellent I would.
