View Full Details of Lindley Grange Care HomeAfternoon visit, the residents loved the band who were playing. Some of the residents were singing and dancing with staff. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly.
Mum was moved to Lindley Grange a couple of years ago, and the care and love she's been shown since she arrived by all the staff is amazing. The activities she receives are top notch and she thoroughly enjoys them. She's always happy, smiling and singing!
Since moving to Lindley Grange Mum has looked happier than she has for a long time. She has settled in very quickly and has a good rapport with the staff. She's well looked after and occupied every day with all the wonderful activities on offer to her. I don't feel I need to worry about her at all now.
My Mother has been at Lindley Grange Care Home since the middle of last year, and the care she has received has been fantastic, she is in a much better physically and mentally than when she arrived. There is a great team of staff who genuinely appear to want to do their best for the residents. There is a huge range of well-thought-out activities laid on with something different most days. The menu is varied, and staff always ensure that there is something that mum will eat - not an easy task. Whenever I visit, the whole place is spotless everything is well organised, and dogs are welcome. It really is better than I ever imagined a care home could be.
I like that the staff are all very friendly and enjoy the dinner (when I'm hungry). Love to join in with the daily activities and visit the little ones at the local nursery. I like it when the singing people visit, and I can sing along with them.
My husband has only been at Lindley Grange for 3 weeks. Having Alzheimer's for 2 years but recently having suffered a stroke needing a long hospital stay, his needs have increased greatly. I was anxious but without cause as all the staff are patient and kind and get to know each individual resident. They are there for our whole family and welcome us with a smile and a drink as soon as we visit. My husband's nursing needs and nutrition issues have been met with care and attention and they have gone the extra mile to help in every way. His clothes are changed regularly and the laundry service is excellent.
The care that my father has received since moving to live at Lindley Grange has been of the highest standard. The staff are all friendly and helpful and genuinely care for the wellbeing not only for the residents, but for the families of the residents as well. All our concerns and questions have been addressed above and beyond expectation and I am very happy that Dad is living in such a caring environment where his complex needs are understood and treated in such a supportive and positive way.
My late mother was a resident of Lindley Grange. The care and compassion the staff gave her was second to none. The activities organiser was brilliant, always gave the residents lots of things to do. A fabulous place.
From the first initial meeting with the manager for the assessment of Mum the care has been amazing. Mum initially didn't want to go in a home but Lindley Grange has changed her mind. She loves it, she is well looked after, clean and smart. They treat her with respect and dignity. My mum has a wicked sense of humour and she is always laughing and joking with the staff. The communication between the home and family is great we are kept informed.
I love living here. I didn't think I would like to live in a home but it is fantastic. Staff are amazing and very caring. The food is freshly made and lovely.
Since moving to Lindley Grange, my mother-in-law has been much calmer and happier. The atmosphere in the home is lovely and all the staff are kind and caring. It feels like she really matters in the home and staff genuinely care about her. It feels like family.
We've been here for 18 months and the standard has been very good throughout. There have been staff changes but this has not reduced the quality of the care at all.
Very good. Only downside can be a bit noisy.
Excellent in most respects. Some concerns about safety.
My friend has been a resident since March. I cannot praise the staff enough for their patience and care. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere from the moment you step through the door. The activities provided are amazing. The cleanliness is five stars. My questions are always answered with honesty and my friend's care is superb.
Absolutely amazing caring and friendly staff, five-star treatment and care to the residents too, always interacting with them and the activities are amazing. My friend seems so happy there and that's the most important for her and us. Thank you so much for everything you all do to make the residents happy, she deserves the best, she was always such a character and I still see this in her now.
Over the past 5 years the highest standards of care and compassion have been experienced by my relative in this nursing home. Sensitivity is shown towards all residents, whose needs are individualised so that suitable activities (involving lots of variety, humour and fun) can engage each and every one. From leader/manager to cleaning and maintenance staff, there is effective teamwork and friendly rapport to ensure safety, sense of community, good nutritious food, care/nursing care where needed and insightful, sympathetic companionship - such qualities consistently support the 'Lindley Grange family'. Surroundings are cheerful and comfortable. Lindley Grange staff always go the extra mile; their patience and ability to 'find a way' whatever arises is outstanding. Relatives are made welcome; staff are always honest, open and tactful. A heartfelt thanks to you all!
My mother-in-law (widowed 28 years ago) moved to Lindley Grange a year ago after her deteriorating dementia meant she required more care than home carers who had looked after her for 4 years could manage. We moved her here as my mum had enjoyed it here a few years ago. We live 3 hours away and are not able to visit very often (because of other family health problems). I love to see all the exciting activities on the social media page that they arrange here. My mother-in-law certainly never stroked a Llama before she came here! She was never any good at baking so that activity is out! She is definitely getting good care here - always in clean clothes - and having a very enjoyable social life that she no longer had at home.
Since my sister-in-law has been at Lindley I have not seen her this happy for ages. Well done to the wonderful staff. The various events and experiences are brilliant. Well done Lindley Grange, keep it up.
Our mum has been at Lindley Grange for a year now. As soon as she moved in, she appeared a lot happier, so we knew we'd made the right choice. The staff are amazing as are the many varied activities they put together. You can see from the photos how everyone enjoys themselves. We don't live nearby, so having the daily online content is fantastic. Thank you, Lindley Grange; you're all brilliant.
