The staff here are wonderful and they work very hard, I find them to be very dedicated people, I've honestly never been so spoilt in my life. The food here is excellent and I'm a very picky eater normally. Cannot fault the place.
My father was transferred to this care home from another care home out of the county. I’m very happy with the care my father receives at Autumn Grange, the staff are always pleasant and helpful. I would fully recommend this care home to anyone.
Thank you to everyone involved in this wonderful care home. All of the staff are so kind and considerate towards the residents and families. My 93-year-old mother-in-law spent the last 12 weeks of her life here. She was made to feel welcome, safe and secure, which, as her family, was most important. The rooms are comfy and clean, the food excellent, and nothing is too much trouble. The end of her life was calm, peaceful and dignified. All we could have wanted. Thank you. Highly recommend!
The initial contact showed the staff were welcoming and it feels like a home from home. All the times I have been to the home the residents have always been treated with respect and kindness. The staff have been tremendous during this last horrendous year and have kept us informed. The fact that no one had coronavirus during the first few months showed us how the work is effectively managed keeping the residents safe. The staff had already been given their own sections to work in before anyone had heard about bubbles. Which must have helped when responding to the difficulties this year has presented. The home is always clean, the meals delicious and good portions. The outside area is as pleasant as the inside. There are usually plenty of events for relatives to join in and lots of entertainment. They always provide a variety of activities to stimulate the residents. My late husband was cared for by this home so when my mum needed a care home I had no problem recommending it.
Unfortunately found ourselves in a position of needing some respite care for Mum. However, it soon became apparent she (we) needed a lot more help. After a lot of soul-searching mum stayed at Autumn Grange. We were a little worried/apprehensive for mum and us but we really needn't have been. Although we haven't been able to go into the home due to current conditions we are always welcomed on the phone, nothing too much trouble, we get pod visits and mum says she's happy well looked after and they feed her! We are sent regular photos of mum doing all sorts of activities and smiley - just what we need to set our mind at ease that she really is ok. We can ring any time of the day/night for updates on mum and the staff are always happy to answer any questions or address any concerns we have. The home has tried very hard to keep families connected during the pandemic - phone calls/video calls, pod visits etc. When we've seen mum in whichever setting the staff are welcoming and the home always looks well presented.
My brother in law was admitted to Autumn Grange after suffering kidney failure, he has quite severe learning difficulties and was still relatively young (59) when admitted. The staff have been amazing with him, accommodating his many and varied needs without question. We are so very grateful to them for their care of him especially during the covid lockdown when we haven't really been able to visit him. They really have gone above and beyond for him. The home always has a bubbly, friendly atmosphere when you walk in, it is always clean and smells fresh and the food looks yummy! The activities are many and varied and look interesting and engaging. All in all our experience with Autumn Grange has been a positive one so far. Looking forward to regular visits again.
My Mother has advanced Alzheimer's and requires a great deal of care. The staff at Autumn Grange have been very patient and caring throughout her stay. It is a great comfort to me to see how contented and secure she is. She is included in many of the activities the staff engage the residents in and she obviously enjoys the interaction. I have no concerns whatsoever about the day to day and nursing care she is receiving and would not hesitate to recommend Autumn Grange. Any health concerns the nursing staff may have are communicated to me quickly and her care plan discussed with me.
My mum has been at Autumn Grange for the last few years. Unfortunately, she suffers quite badly from dementia and was unable to fend for herself. From the moment my mum began staying at Autumn Grange she has been looked after exceptionally. Nothing is too much trouble. My mum is looked after with care and dignity. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. As well as supporting my mum with the excellent care she receives the manager and staff provide support for us too and are always only a message or phone call away if we need reassurance or want to know how my mum is. It's a very daunting task finding the right home and I'm in no doubt we found the right home for my mum.
We feel very fortunate to have found Autumn Grange for my mum. Staff are kind and caring, welcoming of, and communicate well with the family. The home is well led and managed and a family environment created. An excellent range of activities is provided by dedicated staff. The whole staff team including admin and reception, housekeeping, maintenance and catering work in the best interests of the residents.
