We are very at ease visiting my son in Fleet Valley. He has been in four months now and has settled in well and is content. My daughter and I visit him twice a week and we are always warmly welcomed by all the staff.
The care and attention my husband receives at Fleet Vally is second to none.
The care is second to none physically and mentally and the social care plan takes into account all aspects and is updated with the family to make it meet all needs. Visiting is pleasurable for us all. Meals are excellent and a good choice is given, which can in the dining room, be a normal and social experience. The activities take place afterwards, seven days a week, which is vital to the wellbeing of all.
From the time my father-in-law was taken into Fleet Valley direct from the hospital, after a very stressful few days, the manager and all the staff just calmed the whole move down, they treated him as if they already knew him. After a few days when he came around a bit and a staff member explained where he was and why he was there, he settled in and the care and attention he was given was second to none. Every day there is an activity on that residents can join in if they wish, they are encouraged to but certainly not forced to, relatives and visitors alike may join in if they wish, the whole home is run to look after not only the residents but relatives and visitors as well, they keep you in touch the whole way should they need to, and I just wish I could see a doctor as fast as he did, amazing. I love this place and if I had to go into a home this would be the one I would choose, thank you.
An amazing experience so far. We love the amount of activities that are on for everyone. We feel very welcome. The food is a great choice for my father. Loving the new updates also.
We have found the care provided to my father by the Manager and her team to be exemplary. The staff at Feet Valley Care have been kind, efficient and attentive to my father's needs. The room provided has been comfortable brightly decorated and well-furnished. My father has enjoyed the food prepared in the kitchen. My father all in all found his experience at Fleet Valley beneficial to his well-being. Thank you to the Manager and staff for going the extra mile.
The staff at Fleet Valley are all very good and provide excellent care and support to residents. They are all very pleasant and caring, even when very busy and under pressure. I have found that from senior staff to carers, all are excellent at providing support and encouragement where rehabilitation and mobilisation are taking place in order to allow people to return home and just to have a more active life while resident in the home. The cleaning staff, the people who are always forgotten about but without whom, the home could not operate. They keep the building immaculate and always have time to have a cheery word with residents. The kitchen staff keep us well fed and supplied with tea or coffee and go the extra mile to provide something we like if there is nothing on the menu we fancy for lunch or tea. They are fantastic. The office staff as well are happy to get something from the shop if they are going and papers need to be paid for, or snack supplies have run out. It is a very pleasant environment, and there is a good variety of activities and outings to suit most tastes and interests.
My stepmother has been in Fleet Valley since September and has received excellent care from all the staff. They will respond quickly to ay queries or requests I have.
I am delighted with all the care that is given to my father and myself. Without the care of the staff, I don't know where I would have ended up mentally. So lovely to have the start of a father/daughter relationship again. I can't thank the staff enough for all the help, care and helpfulness.
My sister was a resident at Fleet Valley, she had dementia all the staff were excellent they were first class I couldn't ask for a better place, and it was very clean. The staff were just like a second family they couldn't do enough for my sister and for the family, again thank you Fleet Valley.
All care is above and beyond. Staff and management are excellent. Food and drinks are very good.
My sister came into Fleet Valley Care, really in desperation, needing help with her dementia. Fleet Valley has certainly made a difference to her, she loves it, entertainment, food, company etc. She has settled in fine, loves all the staff.

Mum loves being here, the staff are all fantastic, the care she receives is first class and most importantly she is treated with dignity. Mum enjoys the food which is excellent and they have a good choice. She is warm, safe, happy and most important for me is having peace of mind knowing she is safe, It has allowed me to go away knowing she is safe.
Friendly and welcoming at any time. General atmosphere is cheerful and relaxing, with super helpful staff from management to catering.
My friend, a widower, was only in Fleet Valley Care for a few weeks before he died. His wife, who suffered from dementia, resided in Fleet Valley Care Home for a period of some four years. I was able to witness first-hand, particularly during the last few days of my friend's life, the wonderful care given to him including the excellent support he received both from the nursing staff and other members of the team. The manager of the care home and her deputy together with their staff were truly outstanding in the warm care they displayed towards my friend. A very big thank you to the Fleet Valley first-class, professional care team for their excellent standard of care.
My mother-in-law was admitted from hospital for palliative care following her decision to stop all medication while a patient. She was 100 years old, so her decision to go into Fleet Valley wasn't made lightly. She was there for four weeks. Although 100 she was still bright mentally, doing her crossword and sudoku! She settled much better than she or her family expected. This was due to the exceptional warmth of welcome and care she experienced while there. The manager, deputy, nurses, carers, catering team, housekeeping, and handymen all popped in to see her numerous times, and this personal interaction most definitely enhanced her stay. She felt so cared for and nothing was too much trouble. The manager, deputy, and nursing team ensured her emotional and physical needs were met. As Mum approached the end of her life, the palliative care was exceptional. We will always be thankful she was in the care of the team at Fleet Valley.
