View Full Details of Heartlands Care & Nursing HomeI can't say enough nice things about this home and particularly the management. They are the loveliest staff team you could ever meet. My aunt and I have been visiting my uncle in the home for over 18 months now and we now feel like family. The home manager is amazing shes so professional but so fair and robust in her approach, she will have your back when needed. The rest of the staff from the care team, the cleaners, and everyone are so friendly and approachable. My uncles care is second to none, yes there's been a few small issues but once you raise them they are dealt with straight away if you go to the right people. Overall im so glad my we chose this home for my uncle.
Fantastic 10/10
I think over all everything is lovely and clean and the care is very good. The food are very good. They try to get as many of the residents to involve in the activities.
Having to place my dad in residential care following a long stay in hospital, was a daunting prospect. With help and assistance we were introduced to Heartlands. Although, out of the areas choice, my dad was lucky enough to get a placement here. I have seen and been to many care homes, but none come near to Heartlands care provision staff team and general ambience of the environment. It is top class and is a place I would live in. You have to see it to believe it. Thank you so much.
My father-in-law as been in Heartlands Nursing Home for a good few months, he is well cared for and the staff are very caring and reassuring, previous to this time his wife was in there only very short time but same again. Very good care by carer's and senior care to even housekeepers to everyone. Even gone above and beyond video calling his son in Australia for him to talk to. This home is excellent.
Heartlands Care Home was our family's 1st experience of care homes and was recommended by a friend whose mom had been there, my father in law was in there for a short time before he passed and I honestly can't praise the staff enough, he said every day how lovely everyone was, one nurse referred to him as "Dad" they loved listening to his life stories and as an ex-police officer in Birmingham he had a few, he loved the ladies and they loved him and we will be forever grateful they made sure he had as good end of life as possible. We put our uncle into the care home as well due to his deteriorating health at the age of 94, our previous experience with the home told us it was the right place for him to end his days, he was blind and living alone up to this point, and had starting falling at home, he couldn't see but could hear and his mind was perfectly sharp, he told us on day 2 he felt better enough to know he'd done the right thing, which is all we could've asked for, sadly our uncle passed away shortly after his 95th birthday, we are just sad he didn't ask to be moved sooner so he could've enjoyed Heartlands care home for longer.
Our mother became a resident at Heartlands when her vascular dementia reached the stage where she was unable to live independently. We found Heartlands to be caring, friendly and with first-class facilities. All residents are made to feel special, important and involved. When the time sadly came for end-of-life care, care staff kept up fully informed and cared for Mum with invaluable kindness and sensitivity, ensuring her comfort and dignity at all times.
The standard of care is good, and staff is friendly. Manager listens to any concerns and tries to rectify them. I would recommend Heartlands, it is a good friendly and caring home. Good parking facilities.
The sink in the en-suite shower room blocked up for well over a month and is still not fixed! Not allowed small fridge in room, so food and fruit often goes off and gets mouldy. Clothes go missing when given in for washing, so have to hand wash in the room. No translators are available to communicate with staff. Personal belongings go missing from the room. Do not cater for food I would like to eat.
Heartland's Care Home is fantastic. Lovely staff, kind, caring and patient with vulnerable elderly people. Beautifully kept facilities and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend to everyone. Nothing is too much trouble. Our family is very happy with the care our mother receives.
The staff always put residents' health and well-being first. They ensure that everyone is entertained and encourages residents to take part in activities. They always ask family members if they are ok and address any concerns we have.
I have always been happy with the care given in the home and all staff that have worked there and with my mother, from her time going into the care home in 2018. I was also very satisfied and grateful with the teams involved with my mother when the tragic death of my husband in 2022, which made visits to see her more difficult. They all made sure Mom was OK and had personal items she needed due to me not being able to go.
Heartlands is brilliant. My dear cousin has settled so well. The quality of care is excellent in every way. My cousin is happy and relaxed. She is engaged in activities and kept active through trips and activities. The staff are superb- skilled, caring and kind.
The care home is a warm and pleasant environment, it is spotlessly clean. All the staff are friendly, nothing is too much trouble. There is a great variety and choice of food and activities. I have peace of mind since getting to know the team and would recommend the home to anyone.
We as a family are so pleased with the care our mom has received in the past 5 months of her stay. All of the staff are so caring and the daily activities the team provides for the residents are fantastic. We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely home.

We cannot thank the staff enough at Heartlands Care & Nursing Home for the care and compassion they showed my mom. Once Mom settled in the home, she was more relaxed and made some friends. Nothing was too much for the staff when it came to looking after Mom. Getting Mom into the home was made easy by all the management at the home. I would recommend this home to other people if they were looking for a care home for one of their family members.
Many thanks for the care, compassion and dignity shown to our father in the short time he was with you. It was very comforting to know he was in such caring and safe hands. I would also like to thank all the staff for the friendly and caring manner they treated our family.
My dad was in the Heartlands Care Home, the care and attention he received was amazing, if ever you needed a home for your loved ones to stay this is the care home to pick, the care they also gave us as a family was second to none, from reception to all the care staff they went above and beyond, I really cannot praise the care team enough.
My father was brought into Heartlands Care as end of life. The care he received was amazing. The staff go above and beyond with him but also with us as a family. We had some rough days but there was always someone for a cuddle and a chat. I would recommend your beautiful home. It has so many lovely features.
