We visit each weekend with my mother in law and we are always offered a drink, my father in law is brought to another room where we can share private moments. We are updated regularly and I have only good things to say would recommend.

We have our mum at the Royal Manor initially for rehab but has become a permanent resident there now .we couldn't ask for better care for her she is happy there and settled and we as a family can always speak with the manager and owner their door is always open if we want to talk to them about anything The other members if staff are lovely to mum and that really helps as she was very independent before going into the home
Royal Manor is a home from home, with exceptionally caring staff taking care of residents brilliantly with individual needs taken into account Residents and visitors are made to feel very welcome by all.
Very caring and professional service for my mother. The Royal Manor Nursing Home kept me fully updated about my mother over the last six months since she was admitted. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with both residents and visitors. There are always a lot of staff on shift ensuring that each resident receives personal attention and care. Plenty of activities are arranged each month for the residents and there is an enclosed garden with seating available to all. I would strongly recommend the Royal Manor Nursing Home.
I cannot praise the staff at Royal Manor Nursing Home highly enough. My relative moved to the home after a crisis and stayed for 6 months until she passed away with advanced dementia. The care my relative received was exemplary. Staff were always so kind, caring, and patient and we were welcomed warmly as a family on our visits to the home. I am particularly grateful to the home's Assistant Manager, who always demonstrated the utmost professionalism and her ability to recall details of my relative's care without needing to refer to documentation or other staff was extraordinary. She was always very happy to take our phone calls and provide any information and guidance we needed. My relative enjoyed the regular parties at the home and we enjoyed being able to be with her for those celebrations. When we couldn't attend, we enjoyed being able to see her, via the home's social media group, taking part and enjoying activities and entertainment.
My father entered Royal Manor Care Home for palliative nursing care and remained there for three weeks until he passed away. During his stay, he was treated with the utmost kindness, respect, and dignity. The staff were outstanding, and Dad was most complimentary. The staff were open, honest, and caring. I would recommend The Royal Manor, who helped us through a difficult time.
I have been a resident here since the beginning of March and my health has improved thanks to the wonderful care of all the staff who go above and beyond their job description, the menu is varied, well-cooked and nutritious. There are activities for the residents to participate which include bingo and dominoes. The building is always clean and tidy, which makes a happy living environment and a welcoming first impression for visitors.
My granddad has just passed away after residing at The Royal Manor for about 2 years and the reason he had managed 2 years was with the help, love and care of the wonderful Royal Manor team. They really are the most kind people and I have enjoyed many laughs whilst visiting my granddad with him, his friends and the Team. I believe when a care home becomes someone's home their friends and family become part of the team to support them, at The Royal Manor I have always felt welcome and I have enjoyed the social parties and even a game of bingo. Thanks, Team Royal Manor for everything!
My mother has been at the Royal Manor since July 2020. I always find her happy and content and she has never complained about anything. She has a nice big room and private bathroom. I bought her a mobile phone and now, with the attention of one of the carers there who I can't name but they know who they are - I get calls on a mobile app so I can see my mother and wish her a good night. Thanks to the particular member of staff and the team!
My dad was moved to the care home from hospital as he was very weak and frail and suffering the end stages of dementia. Everyone at the home made us feel so welcome and the care and compassion for my dad in the last 2 weeks of his life could not have been better. They tried to keep him as comfortable as possible and changed his food to 'easy to swallow' as his swallowing became more difficult. A TV was set up in his room so he could watch the Euro matches even though he was very ill and were present when he finally passed even though my sister arrived just too late. Thanks for everything.
People should be aware this home does not take complex needs, will make family homeless if need feeding peg etc as the new manager does not accept them. The carers use other people's personal things (hygienic) ie razors on different people within the home. Shove food in if need help so they end up with aspiration pneumonia. All around more training for the carers. Would not recommend, only the nurse, she's fantastic.
My mum has been a resident at Royal Manor for the last 20 months. My mum went there for respite, but due to deterioration in Mum's health, she stayed there permanently. My mum settled in well and the staff treat her like family. There is usually always some kind of activity going on which Mum is encouraged to take part in. Mum can be difficult sometimes, but the staff due to experience and knowing Mum are able to diffuse the situation and keep Mum calm.
This care home has staff and managers with the right time, skills and experience to do their jobs. They have clean buildings, rooms and bathrooms. There have been a wide range of activities for residents at home and outside. All the staff treats the service users as their own family. There are good quality food choices and options for the residents. I would recommend this home for your family.
I visited nine other care homes in search of places for my dad. It was such a relief to walk into the hallway of Royal Manor Nursing Home and know I had found such a warm, friendly, well-decorated, welcoming place for them both, at last. 'Homely' is our overriding feeling, now my dad has been there for the past 7 months. The staff are caring and considerate and always friendly. My dad is now settled and content with their 'new home'. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone; the chef, the handymen, the cleaning staff and the care staff. They all work in a friendly, positive atmosphere. The staff work hard with activities to keep the residents busy! The chef is skilled and inventive and my dad particularly is enjoying foods he has not had the pleasure of for years! Management support absolutely good. I visited usually Saturday and hospitality from all the staff and management best ever seen. I am so happy with Royal Manor and I recommend it to so many friends also.
My mum has been a resident at Royal Manor for around twelve months. She settled quite quickly and is the most content I have seen her for a while. The staff and care they provide are excellent. Royal Manor is a very friendly environment and there always seems to be an activity of some sort going on with the residents during my weekly visits. My mum is happy and that is most important to me.
My dad is very settled at Royal Manor. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone wanting a warm environment for their family's care.
Very good. Staff very helpful, friendly and attentive to Mum and needs are very well met. There is always somebody on hand to talk to if I have any concerns regarding Mum. She is happy and safe here and has the opportunity to come downstairs and take part in activities, has nails painted, etc. Also is able to have items in her room from home, tv. pictures etc. that make it feel homely.
