Evry time i go into Langfield care home to visit my mam which is about 4 times a week the lovly manager is ther with a lovly welcoming smile always available to chat about any conserns or worries regarding her residents. I used to visit Langfield about 20 years ago when visiting a neighbour and the manager was ther working then as a carer. The manager's got Langfield through her veins she definitely goes above n beyond her duty and Orchard are very very lucky to hav such a lovely loyal experienced n caring manager looking after such a busy carehome. My mam luvs it they do a lot of activities and the manager gets to know every single residents needs and what they like...8 can't praise the manager and all her team carers cleaners laundry and kitchen staff. Ther like one big family and work together and all this is due to a brilliant Manager..Hope the manager never ever leaves Langfield while my mam is in ther..

My wife and I have visited quite a few care homes in the past. Sorry to sound a little crude but many have a smell/aroma about them! Langside is excellent, it's light and airy, clean and nicely decorated, staff are excellent, always around, attentive, friendly and caring, well done and thank you.

I have never seen such a friendly, caring staff. Every single one is a credit. Same with management. Very clean and the food is very good. Very well cared for and happy residents. Thank you all Entertainment is excellent. There is a games room. The Christmas party was fab my mother-in-law hasn't looked so happy in a long time. Looked like had a fab night on New Year's Eve.

The Langfield dementia unit do a fantastic job with all the patients they work with and I can't thank them enough the way they look after my good friend. They all go above and beyond in my opinion and God bless you all.

When I leave the Langfield Care Home I feel that my nana is looked after with such care and kindness by a dedicated team of ladies. It's such a nice environment when we come to visit Nana. Thanks for everything you do.

My nan has been in Langfield for well over a year now. The manager and whole team of staff work incredibly hard to ensure the needs of all residents are met. My Nan is very content and happy there and has lots of friends. They constantly arrange social activities to stimulate the residents and ensure they are keeping happy and busy. They host themed events which are always fun and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I love to see what she's been up to via the social media page too. Well done to the manager and the team. Not all heroes wear capes.

The staff at this care home go above and beyond for all the patients, including my friend and they always act in a very professional manner with any visitors to the centre. I can't thank them all for their continued hard work and how they speak with all patients and visitors. Thank you all so much.

I visit a friend once a week and have to say how amazing the staff are. I see the difficulties they have with certain patients and how well they deal with it. The service I see they provide is excellent. The home is spotless.

I have 2 family members that reside in Langfield and the care is second to none! I think both my Uncle and other family members started to have a decent night's sleep since knowing my auntie and partner's Nan are very well looked after and most importantly safe! Thanks to all the lovely staff involved it's not missed what you do for our family members.

My mother-in-law has been in Langfield for about 18 months she's very settled. Loves it actually. The main thing is my wife is happy and now sleeps at night knowing her mum is safe and well cared for. They have a lovely garden and a little bar and there is always some entertainment on. The staff are lovely and have plenty of time for the residents. There is always music on which my mother-in-law loves. Usually, it's the old school 60s music which is great for dementia. Think it takes them back to their younger years. My mother-in-law looks great since she's gone into Langfield and so does my wife as it goes who's nearly 70 herself. It's the peace of mind knowing her mum is cared for, thanks, Langfield staff.

The most caring care home I have ever seen! Staff are outstanding with the residents and my mum is so well looked after by the ladies who work here. My mum is so content in here after having been in 2 previous care homes where she was mistreated this care home is so homely and doesn't feel like a care home whatsoever. The standards of cleanliness are immaculate unlike our other experiences, mum is always involved and the progress she has made already after just one month is amazing the staff are so kind, compassionate, caring and friendly. Would recommend this care home 100 per cent, couldn't thank the staff enough for making my mum's experience enjoyable after her having bad experiences elsewhere.

My partner has been in Langfield Care Home for several weeks and in that time I have seen the care and dedication that every member of staff gives to the residents often in difficult circumstances. Whether it is fulfilling the needs of the residents or passing information on to me I cannot fault them. I wish you all healthy and happy New Year.

Our mum was recently brought into Langfield. The care she is receiving is first class! She is happy and the staff are all wonderful, and friendly and couldn't do enough for Mum. We can rest assured that she is cared for and looked after. Thank You team for everything you do every day!

Our mum was brought here for respite initially but hopefully this will lead to full time. She has settled in amazingly as we did worry that she might struggle. She likes her room as it has everything she needs and loves going into the lounge by her room. The carers are all amazing absolutely great with mum and she likes all of them. She has enjoyed singing Christmas carols when the school children came in. She is also enjoying the food. There is a great variety and it looks very tasty.

My elder brother is now a permanent resident of Langfield Care Home being a local resident for the past sixty years. He developed dementia in early March 2021 leading to him becoming extremely frustrated and confused in his daily life. My elder brother is now a Langfield Care Home resident, his personal improvement in his daily well-being has regained his sense of humour, he has become more relaxed and enjoying his life again, and is becoming very settled in his new daily environment at Langfield Care Home. My Brother is receiving the highest care from the Langfield care home staff, the care staff are absolutely brilliant with each and every resident witnessing the level of care is unbelievable, nothing is too much trouble, and they are professional and caring, the manager and her care home management team are first class. I would recommend Langfield Care Home to any family who has a loved one who needs a high level of daily resident care.

The staff noticed confusion in my mother, they rang 111 and a urine infection was confirmed. 111 prescribed antibiotics and the staff at Langfield Care Home sourced the antibiotics, by going to two chemists and my mother was able to start the course without delay. Previously I had to contact the surgery and then have a consultation with a GP who would agree to a urine test, this would then have to be collected, carried out, returned & sent away - all resulting in time elapsing before my mother would start on her antibiotics. I am so impressed with Langfield & the care they constantly give to my mother (and others, I'm sure). Thank you to all of the staff you really do go above and beyond for your residents.

The standard of care is excellent, all the staff are genuine and caring. One lady is particularly efficient and effective as a senior fully knowledgeable on residents' needs and quirks and very supportive to family members when times are difficult. Every effort is made to keep the home clean and tidy even though there is serious work being carried out on the ground floor.

My uncle was reluctant to go into a care home initially but this was necessary due to his increased care needs and reduced mobility. However, he has settled well due to the extremely welcoming staff and their positive engaging behaviour. He enjoys the activities provided and especially the wide range of nutritious food. Thank you for providing him with quality care in his advancing years.

My wife and I have visited quite a few care homes in the past. Sorry to sound a little crude but many have a smell/aroma about them! Langside is excellent, it's light and airy, clean and nicely decorated, staff are excellent, always around, attentive, friendly and caring, well done and thank you.
