View Full Details of Capwell Grange Care HomeMy mother was placed in Miliner house for assessment in November 2024. She was cared for wonderfully by the staff and management. They went beyond expectations to look after her during her stay, engaging her in the Christmas activities and constantly checking on her. As her health deteriorated, the staff provided fantastic care, she was changed and washed daily kept extremely comfortable had a constant flow of tea until her sad demise on 24th January 2025. I would personally like to thank the hard working staff. The care managers for making her final journey as comfortable as it possibly could have been.
Mum is always happy and well cared for. Staff are friendly and genuinely care for the residents. There is always a great vibe in the lounge area and everyone is welcome.
Overall I'm pleased that I chose Capwell Grange. The staff are professional but also friendly and caring. The rooms are basic and functional rather than luxurious but perfectly acceptable considering my wife's condition. Similarly the food is quite repetitive but this is understandable because she is on a pureed vegetarian diet. She is unable to join in any activities but the staff make sure she has access to music which is her only remaining pleasure. The most important thing is that I can leave my wife and be confident that she will be safe and looked after.
Care staff very good. Food excellent. Physio staff very helpful. My sisters recovery was good.
Since my aunt was admitted to Capwell Grange Care Home from the hospital for assessment, she has received excellent care and treatment from every member of staff in the Milliner wing. It is clearly evident that the carers and nursing staff are extremely attentive and considerate to all her needs. There is a relaxed atmosphere where visitors are made to feel extremely welcome and are encouraged to inform the staff if they have any concerns or require anything. In what can sometimes be a very challenging and testing environment, I have found the staff to always be professional and reassuring.
I was treated with the upmost care. The staff were very caring and patient with me, encouraging me every day to do the best I could and I am now going home confident that I shall be able to look after myself with the minimum of help. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff, they really are dedicated and caring. Thanks a million for all you have done.
Capwell Grange is a wonderful care home. Very well run. The carers are so kind, caring and loving. Nothing is too much trouble. There is always someone there to put my mind at rest if I feel troubled for any reason. I am so grateful for everything. I recommend it wholeheartedly. I cannot praise it enough.
My mother has been very well cared for and looked after by the team in Bannetti House. My mother has had a nice time here and has been happy and content. The staff are very friendly and efficient and professional. Thank you for looking after her.
Answering calls is not good, sometimes waiting for reply 15-20 minutes.
Good I have been very happy here. So well cared from by all the staff day and night by the physio that got me walking again after a broken hip the nurses that helped me in every way to keep pain-free, to all the carers that washed and dressed me waited on me all day with lovely food.
My mother is being held against her will at Capwell Grange, Leagrave. The Home is owned by HC-One. The home is dirty, and run by staff who show the elderly no dignity and who mostly don't speak English. I witnessed and posted on another platform, a video of staff hanging around in corridors, playing on their phone having a laugh with each other in the day room. When questioned about the lack of care, I was told to leave and they called the Police, in front of my mum. She cries every day, yesterday I had to try and see her through a window before they closed the curtains. With the audio interviews I have and the media interest, the contract for HC-One will be removed. No fans, no water, just left in soiled nappies to die. The owner called me up and asked me to take down the posts using coercion. CQC are on it.
Bonnetti House was a very good experience. It helped me recover from an operation after breaking my leg. At 98 I felt in need of some extra support to get moving again. The very good help and support from the staff helped my environment
Good service, excellent staff, treated very well. Thank you very much.
Words alone cannot express the praise I give to all at Bonnett House at Capwell Grange, care, kindness, and patience come high. Cleanliness and experience follow, a feeling of a family environment. All staff very efficient in all fields, led by the excellent head of team.
Made Dad's end of life more bearable for me and the family. Thank you so much.
All good. Great staff, always there to help. The food is very good and plenty of it. Altogether happy experience.
Excellent care, nothing was too much bother from day one very friendly and kind. Always helpful, I can not write anything bad as there is nothing bad to write about. From the managers to nurses, carers, housekeepers, and maintenance men.
Very good and lovely staff. Gained confidence walking in heel-less boots and physiotherapists helped me learn to go up and downstairs.
Having spent 4 weeks in hospital with life-threatening consequences, I have just spent 2.5 weeks being so well looked after at Capwell Grange, Luton. Without this care, good foo, and attention I could not have made the transition from convalescence to home. I am very grateful. Professional, caring, and friendly staff at all levels. Thank you!
This is my second stay here, I came a year ago after an attack by a pack of dogs while walking my dog 'Sunny', they killed him, and I was pulled down as well. (Nightmare time). I had to be cut out of my coat, my arm was broken, and my nose and my left eye were impaired. When I got to the hospital my legs wouldn't work. I came here to Capwell Grange where they were all so kind and caring. Smiles all around me, making me feel good. This time the same reason, my legs. I could recommend Capwell Grange to anyone. The room you are in has everything to make you feel at home. The staff couldn't be more helpful day and night.
