View Full Details of Ayresome Court Nursing HomeMy father had a short end-of-life stay. The staff were very caring and attentive and always professional. Couldn't thank you enough.
Initially this was intended to be respite care but my wife deteriorated beyond my care capacity and remained a resident. The home has always been very accommodating and helpful, one minor niggle was dealt with promptly and could not be faulted.
My stepfather has been in Ayresome Court Nursing Home for end-of-life care. He passed away at the beginning of December, he was treated with dignity and respect, the staff did not just do their job, they genuinely cared and took it personally as if it was their family. Thank you.
From the very moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. We were put at ease and told that my Mother-in-law would be well looked after. After 2 weeks we have been assured that she will be. A very nice and caring staff and a lovely place.
Very welcoming as you step through the door. Helpful and kind. Settled my Mam very quickly. Looking after her well. Helping her and caring for all her needs. She was soon looking comfortable, happy, and at ease. Would recommend it without hesitation. After 2 weeks she asked to stay.
My brother's last days in Ayresome Court were lovely for us as a family. He was treated with dignity and respect, even after his passing. His earlier visit for respite was also very good.
Very friendly, well supported, needs taken on, respected, relaxed environment.
Our family could not have been happier with the excellent care our mum received during her time in Ayresome Court, Yarm. Every single member of staff went out of their way to make her comfortable and they treated her with care, respect and kindness. They made us very welcome every time we visited and nothing was too much trouble for them. Sadly Mum died after being there only a week and the staff were incredibly kind and compassionate towards our family. The building is very welcoming, clean, warm and comfortable. We would recommend Ayresome Court wholeheartedly. Many thanks.
I'm very impressed with the level of care, compassion and kindness that all the staff have given to my uncle and our family. My uncle is in the final few days of his life and I really don't think he could have received any better care, and it's been very much appreciated!
My husband has settled into the home, he finds the staff very caring and professional. The only concern was yesterday morning 26th Jan when he had to wait far too long for his pain relief. Other than that we are very happy with his care and excellent staff.
Dad came here from hospital after being in there for three weeks for end-of-life care. All of the staff from the cleaners, care workers etc. have been nothing short of amazing. They are treating Dad with a great deal of care and respect. I would specifically like to point out one of your care workers. I say a huge thank you to her for the care that she gives.
Very friendly, always will help you. You're made to feel welcome. Everybody acknowledges you. Feel at home. Well looked after.
Always found the staff to be very polite and competent. The room is clean.
Staff friendly and informative manager, nurses, healthcare assistants, domestics and activities.
My mum received exceptional care from all medical, care, admin and support staff throughout a 2 month period of palliative care for cancer from September 2023. Sadly, she passed away in November 2023. We will always be extremely grateful to everyone at Ayresome Court who, without exception, went out of their way to make my mum’s stay as comfortable as it could possibly be. In what were obviously difficult circumstances for us, we can honestly say it was a privilege to witness such remarkable compassion and instinct to care for others, from all of the staff, at every level. We cannot praise the teams at Ayresome Court highly enough and have no hesitation in highly recommending their services. They were outstanding! Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone involved.
I would like to commend the way the staff and one member of the nursing team in particular coped with the end of life of my father-in-law in very difficult circumstances. Nothing but kindness and care was shown at the time to him and the whole family and in particular to his widowed wife the next day who is also a resident. Thank you all for your ongoing support.
Thank you so much for looking after and taking care of my mam when I was allowed to come in to say goodbye with my service dog and not forgetting the staff for looking after me after, with a nice cup of coffee before I went back home.
I can't praise everyone enough. My mum has received excellent care and everyone goes above and beyond to help. The home itself is immaculate and Mum's room is always pristine. Would recommend this care home to anyone looking for long-term care for a family member.
The initial move into the home from hospital was very smooth and dignified. Although she has now lost her sight completely the staff are very supportive, friendly and extremely helpful to her. We are very pleased she has settled into the new environment as well as being content with the situation we now find ourselves in. It is also striking to find how very friendly and cheerful all of the staff I meet at the home are.
I cannot fault the care my father has received from all the staff at Ayresome Court Nursing Home. He has had various health issues to contend with in his short stay at the home and this would have not been at all possible without the impeccable and personal support he has received from all the team. He has been treated like a member of their own family.
