My dad was in High Haven. He never wanted to go into a home but after being admitted there after a stay in hospital he didn't want to come home. He was very happy while he was there. The staff are angels. They are so helpful, kind and care about the residents. Everyone works very hard. This includes the cleaners, kitchen staff providing lovely home-cooked meals and all the admin team. Such a friendly home.

I spent 2 weeks here. First of all, having my own room with a TV, one could relax and sleep. The staff were very caring and treated me well, someone was always on hand. I could not fault anyone. I am not going to fault the kitchen staff either. The meals were very edible and a choice was offered.

My stay at High Haven has been very pleasurable and I can't fault the staff. They have all been very helpful and nothing has been too much trouble for them.

My friend stayed in June, I was too ill to help him stay home when his partner went to the grandson's wedding. The genuine happy vibe of the place was a joy to visit, kind, caring, genuine staff who let the residents be their unique selves and the great care that my friend received saw him coming home a happier stronger man than he was when he went in, what a difference a week can make.

My mum has been in High Haven for six weeks now and we have been very pleased with her progress and care she has been given. The staff have been excellent and so kind and caring and we can't thank all of them enough. The help and support they have shown me has been second to none.

Mum went into High Haven a very confused and apprehensive lady. All the staff were lovely. They were friendly, helpful, supportive and kind. They did everything in their power to help Mum and if High Haven had been in Swaffham we would have been happy for Mum to stay with them. They were so good that Mum decided to go into permanent residential care. We cannot thank them enough for all that they did. Highly recommend this care home.

My husband was referred to High Haven from hospital on Dec 8th 2023 (following a fall resulting in a broken hip and partial hip replacement) for rehab. He has received the most outstanding care and compassion and his ultimate return home has been planned and facilitated with the utmost concern both for him and myself. I cannot adequately express in words my gratitude.

Staff always very friendly and helpful when visiting my friend, what a lovely afternoon I had when I joined in with them all taking part in a quiz in the afternoon. My friend said the food is so good, something different every day. Thank you for looking after her so well.

I have felt I have come home since moving here from another care home. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming, it's as if I've always been here. The food is excellent and I'm really happy here.

I was concerned at first when my father was moved here from another care home where he had ensuite facilities but from the beginning, I was impressed with the caring nature of the staff, the general cleanliness and the facilities. Furthermore, Dad has settled in so well and is really happy here so I can not ask for anything more.

During my visit to see my mum on Sunday I was immensely impressed with the staff at High Haven. Helpful, cheerful, and professional, they created a lovely homely atmosphere for the residents and visitors. Nothing was too much bother. I left very happy and sure Mum is well looked after. Amazing job. Thank you.

My husband went into High Haven at short notice as I had to go into hospital. From the moment I had notification of going into hospital (4 days!) the staff at High Haven could not have been more helpful and he went into the home 2 days later. The care and attention he received from all the staff was exemplary! There are activities arranged (if you want to join in) every day. Food was delicious and there were always drinks on hand to keep everyone hydrated. The atmosphere in the home was always happy and my husband felt that all the staff cared about the welfare of all. If you need a care home I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I have been treated extremely well by all the lovely carers whom are all angels. I have had some lovely meals and although I am happy to go home I will miss everybody you are all stars.

Very supportive staff, lovely atmosphere which makes a big difference with dementia. Home from home feel. Mother in law is getting all her needs cared for by very caring staff. All round great place. The staff have time and patience.

The staff have done very well. I was treated very well. I stayed on the Nordelph Unit and feel I’ve got much better with the help from the team. A specific staff member encouraged me to sing songs of Christmas time, which I enjoyed.

We have recently started supporting High Haven Care Home. On Friday 27th May they hosted a “Gala/Award Event“. We had the great pleasure of being involved in helping with this event. Although this was mainly for the staff of the care home, the residents were also involved. The dining room was decorated beautifully (red carpet, balloon arch, table decorations etc). We were invited back to join the staff and residents for the event and join in, chat with everyone. I must say that I was so happy I did go back. I sat and had some tea with the residents first and had some beautiful conversations and laughs. Then some of the staff joined us and I really can’t find the right words to describe the atmosphere, other than it was beautifully heartwarming. To see the care, respect and fun that the staff had with residents was amazing. Listening to what they have had to do in the past 2 years to care for the residents was amazing. We are so happy to be helping with this lovely care home.

Care given was first class. Although it is a busy home an assistant was in attending within minutes of activating the pendant. All staff were very friendly and on first name terms. Food was also very good.

Welcoming atmosphere straight away. First class staff - friendly, confident, well trained and could not have asked for more. No complaints. Just keep up the good work. Thank you all. Guardian angels of High Haven.
